Yes, this was held at an actual cafe... No, they weren't selling food though (and there were a lot of hungry people too!). Good turnout for a place that's normally known for it's pork chop skillet special. Back And To The Left started the night out with some very Shellac like noise, which sounded pretty good to my ears. Hank Musgrove & The Mother Fucking Maniacs were on next and lived up to the outrageous stories I was told of. Samplers, Chaos, Death, Blast Beats and lots of smoke. Personally I think they stole the show. Jumping off the top of the diner's counter tops... writhing on the floor... go and see Hank Musgrove & The Mother Fucking Maniacs before they all kill each other on stage. The Loud Pipes were up next, and I think we did OK. People rocked out. I had fun. The Dirty Babies played a great set next, and I was tapping my toes the whole time they were playing. Good ol' American Rock 'N' Roll that sticks in yer head. I liked it. People were moving, screaming, and making it soooo hot in the diner that all the windows fogged up from the heat! It was so great! Punk fucking Rock man! Thanks to everyone at the Skillet Cafe for allowing the bands to play, and Thanks to everyone that came out and jumped around with the crowd. You rule!
