Just when you think that dooshbag Stephen O'Hara couldn't get any "stupieder", he goes and pulls some dumb shit like this. Apparently he likes talking shit to people when they're down and out, and when he's obviously out of his mind. I'm still waiting to run into him somewhere and ask him about his little comments he made about me when I was bed ridden. I saw his ex band mate Homeless Mike this past weekend, both at the Ditch Dust BBQ and at the J.F.A. gig, and that little bitch boy kept his head down and acted like he didn't see me anywhere we were at. Funny. I applaud Clay for going public with his dismissal of this loser, because just like the cancer operation he just went through, you gotta cut that shit out before it spreads and takes over. Believe me, I know. I cut people out of my Life all the fucking time, because the Drama and Stress is just not worth it. Clay doesn't deserve to be dealing with this shit right now, but Stephen deserves to get anything and everything that's coming to him. And believe me, that retribution is going to come... and soon.

Speaking of drunken acts of buffoonery, the High Rollers weekend is upon us, with everyone putting on their Fred Perry's and Harrington's and turning into an instant working class Skinhead - Oi! Oi! LOL Don we now our ghey apparel... ha ha ha There's plenty of events happening around the downtown area, like scooter rally's and rides, and 60's Soul dance parties with loads of DJ's, and a few bands playing, like The Champions, from San Francisco, who my friends up there say should not be missed, and a Jam cover band called All Mod Cons that I think I saw at one of the other scooter rally's before. Hmmmmm.... Interesting.

Yayo Taco is closing. They can't pay a $700 fine, which doesn't say much for the success of their business. The LVRJ is saying the fine is paid, but the restaurant needs to be brought up to health code standards, which the Owner is refusing to do, because of some self implied persecution complex from the Clark County Health Dept. He says he doesn't have to, the County says he does. Whatever. There's a benefit gig going down there tonight, featuring Holding On To Sound, Caravels, and some other hand picked jewels of the All Ages scene, so if you're in the area, drop off a couple of bucks and help raise some dough to help pay for... something? All the info on the gig can be found here.
First Friday tonight. Godhunter / Demon Lung gig tonight @ Favorites. The Champions @ the Bunkhouse. Mustard Plug and Los Kung Fu Monkeys @ the Hard Rock Cafe. F.S.P. @ the Double Clown. Holding On To Sound @ Yayo Taco. The People's Whiskey doing an unplugged set @ the Huntridge Tavern. All that is going down tonight, so there's no excuse to stay in. Saturday night it's all about Scarlet @ Artifice with their Bauhaus inspired night. Sunday is Crazy Chief @ Backstage Bar & Billiards. Plus Wranglers games going on against San Francisco and Colorado @ the Orleans all weekend. Yup! Definitely time for some shenanigans. ;-) Everything is updated. The photos of the White Kaps @ Favorites are posted, and you can see them by clicking here. The pictures of J.F.A. are posted as well, and you can click here to check those out. I also did a Music Review for the new Anti-Flag / Hostage Calm split 7", and you can click here to read that. It's amazing what you can get done when you have the time...

Yeah, I'm currently obsessed (and not in a good way) by this video for the Krokus song Long Stick Goes Boom... somebody help me please by killing me now. The band's AC/DC sound is shockingly addictive though. I saw this band somewhere back in the day... Long Beach with the Scorpions? I dunno and can't remember.
And BTW, today's update is brought to you by the word 'Docking'. Click here to see what all you guys have been missing out on. Or maybe you haven't... Hey now! ;-)

I realized the severity of my problem while I was sitting in a house in Lake Havasu at 5 in the morning, working on a case of Newcastle, with Sailor Jerry keeping me company and the Mentors as the soundtrack to the depravity. The gig in AZ. was phenomenal, with Aluminum Falcon making a big splash on the Locals, who showered us in beer and broken glass and knew our songs and were singing along to them, even though most of the time I don't think they were singing the right words, but oh well, I give them an 'A' for effort! hahaha I wish I could tell you how the night ended, but the rule is, What happens on the Road, stays on the Road. ;-) Let's just say it involved BJ's, Black Widows and Bauhaus and leave it at that.

Voodoo Glow Skulls @ the Bunkhouse last Friday was OFF THE HOOK!! Completely sold out gig and a crazed audience had people glowing about the bands performance days afterwards. I'm glad. I love that band, and go a way, waaaaay back with them. Happy to see them playing lots more of the older stuff too. I love Jerry to death but he couldn't play those old tunes as fast as he used to. The new guy can. And who the Hell are the Mad Caps and why is everybody carrying on about them? I was hyped on Saturday night's gig about Dangerboner playing it, but apparently I missed out on this crazy good band called The Mad Caps. Anybody know anything about them? I must see what they're about immediately if not sooner.

No, I haven't gone to Insert Coins yet, as I don't see a reason to. I'm not some douchebag hipster with nothing better to do than hang out and pay to play old school video games that I can play for free in the serenity of my own home. Yeah, let's go downtown and rent out a Super Nintendo system and play Excite Bike! LAME!! And VIP bottle service at an video game arcade? Bite me you scum.

Anyways, everything is updated. Osama Bin Laden is still dead, and Hank! is still the coolest kid I know, even though he still has no scooter. :-)

I'm not really sure why we ended up drinking at The Cheyenne Saloon last night. Maybe it was because we ended our costume shopping run at Savers... maybe it was because we all had never been there before. In any case, we watched the end of the World Series game and played pool and drank Newcastle's and Jagermeister all by our selves while pumping the juke box full of our eclectic musical tastes... AC/DC... Bauhaus... Johnny Cash... Dead Kennedys... Abba, and Guns 'N' Roses. I'll leave it to you to figure out who listens to what. But we did get our costumes together... had a nice little dinner... and just had a good time hanging out with each other, taking a break from our practice schedule... and just having FUN!
