There's a real reason why shit doesn't get done on here, and it has to do with a certain someone who keeps me up all night, getting crazy with me, and giving me the greatest hopes and dreams ever, but it all comes with a price, a price which, given my present physical condition, is a bit difficult to pay and leaves me feeling weak and a bit drained. Oh well. And no, I'm not talking about Bob... ha ha ha No, I'm talking about Her, and she knows who she is... and so do a few other people too... heh

Anyways, first off, let me tell you about this gig going down tonight @ the Lounge inside the Palms casino featuring The People's Whiskey and The Scoundrels. A kick ass, rocking good time is guaranteed. I haven't been to this place yet, but if it's the same place that I played a disastrous gig while in Suite 666 (we played with Black Camaro... UGH!), then it's a good room to watch bands play and they have great waitresses for quick booze service. ;-) Come on out and Support! if you got nothing better to do tonight. I might be there, with my just returned Home hot shot professional Photographer Ashley Chance. <3 Check out her website Taken by Chance by clicking here to see some of her amazing work.

OK, what's been added to the website as of late? Well, that damn cursed Show Review I did like 6 months ago of Unfair Fight's record release party for We Are The Dead, and you can click here to read that shit. I don't know why the layout kept getting messed up, and words I wrote (or think I wrote anyways) kept disappearing from it. Oh well. It's up, it's done, and with the slew of people turning in stuff for the website, I better get cracking and keep up with my stuff! LOL Good ol' Zack, aka Colin Oscopy (his Facebook name) turned in a Show Review for the D.R.I. Thrashgiving gig that went down @ the Bunkhouse a few days ago, and you can go here to read that. How was everybody's Thanksgiving anyways? Mine sucked this year because I spent it flat on my back in a Oxycontin stupor, wracked with pain and unable to even sit up for a few minutes. But at least I got my grub on - Thank You Roxie! XOXO

Speaking of Show Reviews, Dean turned one in for the D.I. gig that we (American Buckshot) were supposed to play but didn't, and you can click here to read that one. Much better than the half finished one he turned in for that craptacular Horror Business gig we played @ the Sand Dollar... jeesh! :-) Thanks to Blue Tile Lounge for bringing us both of those reviews. Add them and Like their page on Facebook by clicking here to be kept abreast on what's going on here in Vegas regarding Punk Rock and Skateboarding. And speaking of craptacular, Bob, aka All Hail Bob, turned in a completely illiterate, barely comprehensible Show Review for a The People's Whiskey gig he went to @ the Double Clown a while ago, and you can click here to read that, if you can. Don't worry. It's short. Won't take you much time at all to get through it, and if you can tell me what it was about, please drop me a line @ ge138@onethirtyeight.org and enlighten me. :-)

I think everything else on here that's been added as of late I've already mentioned, but if not, I'll get to it tomorrow. I gotta get out of here, because my leg is killing me. Pain pills take me away...

D.I. flyer
Well, I guess the question of the hour is if American Buckshot is going to play this gig on Friday. To be honest, your guess is as good as mine. I'm wracked with pain, but I'm able to walk around for short bursts of time, but it comes with a lot of effort and stress and I'm kind of hunched over when I do it. I feel like a worthless lump but I think I'm making progress. 2 other Local bands, N.E. Last Words and Roid Rage, have been added, so if we don't play it won't be THAT big of a deal. I'm taking it day by day, so we'll see. It should be a fun gig regardless. Come out and work off some of that post Thanksgiving day turkey flab by bouncing around while D.I. plays all the songs you all know and love. There are worse ways to spend a Black Friday night.

My recent injury has me Thankful for a lot of things, especially my Friends who have been helping me out as of late, bringing me food and crutches and taking me to the Dr.'s and all that stuff you take for granted when you're no longer able to walk. I seriously love each and every one of you, and I couldn't do any of this without your help. Again, I'm seriously Thankful for everything you all do for me.

I'm also Thankful that this Aluminum Falcon recording is officially being released! LOL It's been a long time coming, that's for sure. It's called Finally, and you can listen to it and purchase it on Google Play by clicking here, and on CD Baby by clicking here. The link for Soundcloud is right below here. Check it out and lemme know what you think about it. It was recorded here in town @ Camel Hump Studios by John "Plastic Bag" Brown and mixed by Paul Miner, who's worked with Death By Stereo and New Found Glory, among others. I'm really proud of how this came out. The actual, physical CD will be available for purchase real soon. The artwork that Andy from Surrounded By Thieves did for it is incredible.

Some new stuff added to the website to bring to your attention, like the stuff Karl Bakla has been turning in, Music Reviews on the latest from the Post Teens (click here to read that) and the Dee Cracks (click here to read that), a Ramones type band from Austria. I finally straightened out my review of the Unfair Fight 7" (click here to read it), and the photos of The Vermin playing at the Double Clown were posted. Click here to check those out. Yeah, lots of stuff coming up on here. There's lots of catching up to do. :-)

P.S. Happy Birthday Talitha - I love you! XOXOXOXO

I guess if creating a dialog amongst the Locals was the aspiration, then this Squid Hat Records showcase thing has done it's job! LOL Loads of people are talking about it, everyone's got an opinion as to who the 6 bands to be chosen are, but the majority of them don't wanna go on record as to which bands they think should play, for fear of offending their 'Friends' for whatever reason. Cowards... hahaha So, with that in mind, I presented some Local people in the know about the music scene here in Las fucking Vegas this question:

If a Record Label rep were to ask you to recommend 6 Local bands to consider him to check out to sign to their label, who would you name off? Any genre.

The answers were interesting in bands named and bands not named. After reading the answers, and conversing with the individuals who came up with them, I even more so wanted to attach names to lists, but I told them I wouldn't, and if anything, I am a man of my word, so I won't, because being anonymous behind your words on the Internet is the cool thing to do nowadays, and nobody wants to cause Drama or Trouble or Controversy on the Internet, right? Yeah right... hahaha Anyways, here's the lists people turned in. I got some free D.I. tickets for their gig next week @ the LVCS to the first 5 people who can guess who's list is who. Possible suspects include a Writer, a Drug Mule, a Shit Talker, a Bassist, a Judge of Musical Talent, another Bassist and a Curmudgeon. First come, first served gets the tickets - post your guesses in the comments and make sure you leave a way for me to get a hold of you in case your guess is correct. I'll give you a hint - one of the lists is fake... heh heh

Tony's B-Day flyer
OK, well, since I have to go to American Buckshot band practice in like 5 minutes, because of my insecure band mates arriving early, and a bratty, oversexed girl that keeps me up all night (literally and figuratively), I gotta cut this short. Before I go I wanna remind you of this amazeballs gig happening mañana at the Sand Dollar (not the Bikini Bar) for Tony Batz, aka Grandpa Spooky, aka the Prince of pinche Darkness. He's ancient even for a Vampire and tomorrow night is when we're all gathering together to play a gig and hopefully have some cake and ice cream for him but yeah, I doubt it! LOL I'm just hoping the Hawaiian Hot Dog Lady (or, as Rusty refers to her as, his future wife) is there so I can get my grub on after I play my set. And yeah, I know there's something called 'Thrashgiving' going on at the Bunkhouse with D.R.I. headlining, but looking at the bands opening it up, I'm almost willing to bet that not one of them plays real 'Thrash', ala Napalm Death or Cryptic Slaughter or some shit. Matter of fact, there's 2 loser bands playing that gig that shouldn't be allowed to play anywhere, period! ha ha ha Fucking shit talking losers - crawl off to the desert and die like the diseased rats that you are, and quit polluting our Music Scene with your Drama and Bullshit. Fucking tweekers, I swear. I hate them. Anyways, tomorrow night, you can come to a great Local show with some cool bands playing, or you could go stand around outside and wait to see a band who's long past their prime, playing with some bands you shouldn't support in any way, shape or form. The choice is yours. See you at the Sand Dollar. :-)

I don't even know where to begin, so I'm just gonna ramble like a baboon on speed and let things go. Sorry if it offends anyone... LOL Yeah, whatever. Hey, I had a blast in CO. Playing that skate park benefit in Silt on Sat. was friggin' awesome! Ran into Alex The Traveler while there, a Vegas kid who is friends with Sammy and used to hang out at the gigs back in the days @ Eastside Joe's and Yayo and all that shit. He's grown up a bit now and doing good and all that. It was cool catching up with him. And man, everybody is sure nice in CO. No attitudes, friendly, easy going, it was definitely a trip to deal with, to say the least! But yeah, we got the full on Rock Star treatment, with fully loaded rooms at the Holiday Inn, where all the bands were staying, and there was lots of room hopping, booze drinking and drug doings going on all weekend there. The guys were super nice people but man, did their bands suck ass! LOL Reno Divorce were total Social Distortion clones, and The Black Pacific were just sad, with their drunken guitar player ruining their entire set, and them playing like a zillion covers from bands as diverse as the Rolling Stones to Black Flag to David Bowie to Pegboy didn't help out either. The Black Pacific sounded like Pennywise to me, and they had a tee shirt for sale that was a total rip off of the Unknown Pleasures album by Joy Division, so yeah, I wasn't impressed. Another band I wasn't impressed with was these ass spelunking dooshbags called Red Tide Rising, who were the biggest fucking jokes I've seen in a long, long time. Imagine a bunch of scene kids with broomsticks rammed far up their asses and lacking any originality or musical talent whatsoever, and you'd have a slight idea of what Red Tide Rising are all about. Just. Fucking. Horrible. They had boxes on stage that they would stand on and do choreographed cockstar moves on them to the delight of no one who was there to see them. There's a band here in town that does the same thing and looks just as stupid when they do. I don't get it, but whatever. Every band that played had people in front of them watching them play, every band except for these jackoffs in Red Tide Rising. Whatever. Even the opening band, Arch Angel, had a mob of people watching them play as they massacred songs by Metallica, Pantera, Megadeth and Primus, if you can believe that. Too Many Puppies never sounded worse. LOL They were a bunch of high school kids so it was kind of cute to watch for a little bit. Yeah, the gig on Sat. was cool. The after party at Deidra's was off the hook. I also saw a White Water Raptor by the Colorado river that night. ;-)

We had the Sun. afternoon off and spent it doing the unusual tourist thing of just driving around looking stupid, when we stumbled upon Glenwood Springs, where my Hero Doc Holliday is supposedly buried. We found the place after a bit of a search (it's in a rich neighborhood at the base of the Williams Fork Mountains) and trekked a half a mile up this steep ass hill to get to the cemetery where the Legendary Gunfighter is resting somewhere. We payed our respects to the Man and I threw up near the grave marker. It seemed appropriate. ;-) We spent the rest of the afternoon @ Doc Holliday's Saloon, where we ate and drank and gambled like the tourists we are. We had to drag ourselves away from the place, but a few hours later in Denver, all was forgotten. The place we played that night, called the Lion's Lair, was a total Punk Rock dive bar, where the bartender Michelle was an old Vegas person who just got us hammered all night long gratis of all charges. Thank you ever so much dear! XOXO The bands we played with, Salt and Murder Hat, were exceptional, with Salt mining a heavy Grunge vibe and Murder Hat just killing it by playing everything from Thrash to Ska, and whatever they wanted to in between. Both bands annihilated the place, and it was fun playing the gig with them. You can go to Salt's Facebook page by clicking here, and you can go to Murder Hat's Facebook page by clicking here. They're both great bands full of super nice guys. Look forward to seeing them play here in Vegas sometime soon (I hope). The drive home on Monday was sweet, taking our time and hitting up some scenic viewpoints along the way. We saw the Oscar Meyer weinermobile. I spent way too much money in Utah's Beaver. The Comedy channels on satellite radio made the time go by much quicker. It was a great weekend with some good friends, full of fun times and lots and lots of shenanigans. Lots of Pictures to come.

Notice how I didn't mention the band I played the gigs with. Pretty cool, right? It's something I feel I have to do now because I don't wanna hear the BS that goes when one decides to exercise their right to air an opinion in public. Although the hubbub has died down majorly, I'm still getting emails from bitter ex-girlfriends and band mates who think they're slick and cool and anonymous. Think again people. You're fooling no one, and your antics aren't cute. You're not that slick. Seriously. I've got a busy week ahead of me, that's for sure. Lots of photos to edit and Gig info to add the the website. Anyone remember Punk Rock Bowling? The gig at the Aruba Hotel? Uh huh, me either. Yeah, I added the photos of D.I., Kids On Fire and Guilty by Association to the website, and you can click here for the D.I. photos, and here for the Kids On Fire pix, and here for the Guilty By Association photos. Thanks to Skateboard Bob for taking the GBA pictures. Everything is sort of updated. I got to get my ass to work.

Hey! Is it safe to come out yet? LOL

Yeah right. Contrary to popular belief, I was not 'hiding out' this weekend. No, more like I was having fun, playing Star Wars video games in my Mother's basement and enjoying some time off from my hectic band practice schedule, dealing with real life Drama that was laughable, visiting with Friends from out of state, and having a go at listening to everyone's interpretation of the whole PRB thing and why I was either right or wrong about it all. I'm glad that some people got it, and disappointed that others didn't. Oh well. It was interesting how it went from a gay thing to a Punk Rock thing, but whatever. It's over, it's done, it was fun while it lasted. And to any of you who believed all that shit, or to those of you who forsook me in my hour of attack, shame on you. You don't have to apologize for me for anything I say. If anyone wanted an apology from me they can ask me themselves and we'll go from there. I don't need you speaking for me, especially to save your precious position in the PRB community. Who gives a fuck about them. Fucking Tossers and Cowards the whole lot of them. They couldn't get to me so they went after the bands I play with. Pathetic, but I'd expect nothing less from the Sheep and Tools that frequent PRB. Baaaaaaaaa. Baaaaaaaaaaa.

I got a busy week ahead of me. Going to Colorado this weekend to play some gigs with Guilty By Association, one with The Black Pacific who, I could give a shit less about it, but the other guys are hyped about it, so I'm hyped for them being hyped, or something like that. Every band I'm in has upcoming gigs in the next few weeks, but I don't know what they are, nor do I really care. All I need is a date and a time and a place and I'm there. All I care about right now is having fun this Summer with my Friends, spreading my Love for Hate and Rape Rock and Homophobia everywhere I go, because apparently, that's how I roll. ;-) Everything is updated. There's a Birthday party for Benny tonight @ the Double Down with The Bitters and The Fat Dukes Of Fuck playing, so that should be pretty cool. I added some Pictures I took of D.I. a few days ago, and you can click here to check those out. I've also re-added all the Pictures from 2011 to the website, which I'm sure no one else but myself could give a flying fuck about, but I do it anyways. Why, you ask? Well, I do it because I'm compelled, just like it says near the top of this page, right underneath the name. No better reason than that, right? Right!

I really don't think I can do it. I really can't. There was just too much fun stuff going on this past weekend for me to even compute what all happened and how fun it was! LOL From running into supposed 'mortal enemies' who just came up to me and were like 'Hey Gilby - what's up?', to making people run away from where I was at and hide from me (seriously, WTF???), the oriental Angel that fell from Heaven right into my lap @ Carl's Jr. (ask Bob about that one), and oh, the people who tip toed around me and acted like I wasn't even there, acted like they didn't even see me, that was the funniest shit of them all. Yeah. There was Music involved this weekend too, with me catching a fantastic set from D.I. @ the Aruba on Sat. night, and also that opening band Kids On Fire were fucking cool too. I think they're from Seattle, check them out.  Death By Stereo were pretty sick as well, and I watched their set from the backstage area while breaking my kit down. I saw a few of the Mapes at the Aruba as well, checking out the Maxies, who everybody told me were really good. Coming all that way from Iceland, CA., they better be! ;-) Oh, and that band Trash Monsters, from CA., total ass clowns. They fucking sucked big time.

I played 2 gigs this weekend with Guilty By Association, and I think I did OK. At least that's what people told me anyways... heh. I was totally spazzing out about playing the songs right and at the right tempo, but the important people who know the bands songs said we sounded great, so I felt pretty good about it all once things were said and done. Again, don't ask me because I don't know what my status with the band is. Mike told the crowd at the Aruba that I was filling in, so whatever. At both gigs I couldn't hear shit, couldn't see shit, and was totally floundering like a fish out of water trying to play everything correctly. I did the best I could. :-) Somebody from the band Break The Cycle filmed us playing at the Double Clown Sun. night, so check it out and see for yourself what we sounded like, and you tell me - is it good?
Oh, and I bowled with the Vegascendents this year too, and we made it to the 2nd round, which is pretty rad for a team's first year. We dragged our sorry asses to the bowling alley at 10 in the morning on Sunday, just to lose to some cool team called the Los Angelaskans, who beat us by like, a zillion pins or so. I was running on absolutely NO sleep and still drunk and stupid. That's my excuse. I can't speak for my Teammates, who went to bed early and were well rested and bowled the worst games of their lives... ha ha ha It was fun and I'm looking forward to not doing it again next year... heh heh Bowling on the other side of us were the Sharp Objects, that band I saw on St. Patrick's Day @ Thee Parkside in San Francisco a few months ago. They had an interesting viewpoint of what went down that night with 'Her' and her drunken, pill'd out  'stupiedity', and after talking to them and hearing them tell me what they saw and heard, I love those guys even more! LOL Yeah, she was there. People saw her. Some of them told me. Some of them didn't. Whatever.

Oh, and you know what else some people told me? Lots of Jokers tried telling me how "awesome" and "epic" the bands were this year, and after watching a few videos from pretty much every band that played this year on YouTube, I have to wonder what some of you out there are smoking, and how can I get some of that, because it's better than what I'm smoking, that's for sure! LOL Gawd, the bands were just terrible this year. Rancid blew, as usual. NOFX is just phoning it in at this point and should just give it up already. They were just sad. Oh, it was convenient of them to announce this past Fri. that they will be playing poolside @ the Hard Rock next month. How many of you Local suckers would of bought tickets to see NOFX @ Punk Rock Bowling if you knew they were playing the Hard Rock next month? Probably the same amount but I remain forever optimistic that it's not so. Oh, let's see... the Adicks, well, you've seen them once you've seen them a zillion times - no biggie. Adolescents? I'll see 'em the next time they play here Locally within the next few months or so and without a crowd of drunken tourists and dooshbags all around me. Punk Rock Bowling really has turned into the Viva Rockabilly weekender. It's the same shit but with different music and costumes.

Dwarves played without He Who Cannot Be Named, and the video I saw of them looked pretty boring. Plus Blag is a wife stealing dick, so enough said about that band. Youth Brigade was lame. A drunk Shawn Stern is sad to watch. People were raving about the Dickies but I didn't see it. They were OK but I've seen 'em better. And to those of you bitching about the Angry Samoans, didn't you learn your lesson from the last time they played the Beauty Bar? Guess not, but whatever. Pennywise? ha ha ha ha Yeah right! New singer, old singer, they have always sucked. The Generators? Youth of Today? 7 Seconds? The Belltones? STFU with that noise. Those bands all sucked and you know it. Look, it wasn't like there wasn't some cool bands that played some great sets this weekend. Cockney Rejects - AMAZING! They were the only band I was tempted to see this year, but the thought of dealing with the sheep and herd of cattle mentality with the crowd there to see them had me staying as far away as possible. Everyone and their dead Uncle was telling me how incredible Municipal Waste was, but they were just as incredible opening up for Gwar a few months ago @ the Hard Rock cafe. I heard Dr. Know kicked ass, but I knew that when the same reunion with Kyle happened in Ventura last year. Good Riddance I heard were incredible, same with Word Salad, but everyone else? Yawn. And that whole Beard Core thing with the acoustic shows happening is a fucking joke. Acoustic guitars are for Hippies like Jim Croce or John Denver. It's the antithesis of everything Punk is and stands for, and if you like it you're just stupid. And if you went to any of those Beauty Bar shows you're incredibly stupid as well. Matt Skiba is a joke. Tim Berry is a fucking cock smoking fag, and so is Tom Gabel, or Laura Jean Grace, or Crazy Confused Cunt, or whatever it's calling itself these days. I'm sooooooooo sick of hearing about that shit, like it's so revolutionary or original. What? Has no one ever heard of Wayne/Jayne County? Genesis P. Orridge? Yeah, didn't think so. The fact that he announces this in Rolling Stone magazine, which hasn't been relevant since they put Britney Spears on the cover the week that Joe Strummer passed away, shows you that it's all just an attention grab, like a baby that smears shit on itself, looking for someone to acknowledge it. Jan Wenner, the Publisher of Rolling Stone, is a well known Queen, so I hope his panties got all gushy and wet when he heard that Tom Gabel wanted to come out in his magazine. I hope he at least got a blow job from Laura Jean Grace for all this free publicity he gave him, her, it, whatever. It's just stupid. Who fucking cares? Seriously. Male or Female, your music still sucks. And if you think any of that Beard Core shit is relevant than you suck too. This shit has got to go. I fucking hate Hippies, I hate Beards, I hate Acoustic music. Just go die already. Go die.

Gawd, I hate that I've wasted this much time and effort on Punk Rock Bowling. I'm gonna go look at some new camera lenses on Amazon to calm myself down. LOL Yeah, Punk Rock Bowling fans, fuck off you Poseurs. Get the fuck out of here. Go back where ya came from! Gee, that sounds so cliched coming from a Native like me. :-) Everything is updated. Yada Yada Yada. I added the Pictures I took of Battle Born @ the Bunkhouse at their CD release party, and you can click here to check those out if you wish. Here's hoping I can get some rest this week, because I could definitely use it. I still never found a masseuse...

And so it begins. :-/

Yeah, Punk Rock Bowling is upon us, and the Drama already begins. I caught a little bit of slack for promoting that F.S.P. gig last night, but I know nothing about any alleged Racism back in the day or about any Racists being in the band, but if that's true, I might have to relegate them to bands that don't deserve to be supported. Anyone know anything about this? Anyone wanna chime in?

Gigs Gigs Gigs Gigs - tonight there's a whole bunch of them happening to choose from. If you don't know about them already, don't look at me for info. It's all on the Gig Calendar page, and you can go there by clicking here and figuring it out yourself. I'm staying in tonight and being a good boy, because I gotta get up early to head out to Sam's Town to bowl with the Vegascendents Team. Lane 1 @ Noon. Come hang! :-)

I think I've converted every page on the website to the new format. I'm constantly adding all sorts of the old material to the website, like Pictures and Show Reviews, and I've added some new stuff too, like the Music Reviews on the latest from Ministry (click here to read that) and Surrounded By Thieves as well - click here to read that. I also added the Pictures I took of them playing @ the Bunkhouse a few weeks ago, and you can go here to check those out. That was a fun night to say the least. The Show Review of that gig is almost done. I'm just waiting to edit those Battle Born photos from that night and it will be done. Oh, I added a Tunes page with stuff to listen to on there, and the first thing I put up on that page was a release from Public Humiliation back in 1988. The album is called It All Started When I Was Five, and you can click here to check that release out. Fans of the Flaming Lips or the Dead Milkmen will like it. Anyways, I'm going to go back to watching Chappelle's Show before calling it a night. Hope to see you at the D.I. gig tomorrow!

Well, I had some time off, since Aluminum Falcon didn't practice yesterday, so I fucking relaxed and did fuck all. I watched cartoons and listened to Nick And Artie. I cleaned my house. I made tacos and rice. Yeah, this practice thing last week was a bit hectic, to say the least, but I think all the hard work payed off, because every band I was trying out with and jamming with liked me, so yeah, go me! LOL I'm gonna be filling in for Bingo Billy in Guilty By Association for a bit, until his torn ACL heals up and he's able to get back behind the kit. GBA has some big shows coming up, like the D.I. gig for Punk Rock Bowling, the Swingin' Utter$ gig @ the Bunkhouse (I think) and some gig just outside of Denver with The Black Pacific at some skate park or someplace like that, I dunno. I'm just the drummer. Nobody tells me anything, and that's just fine. :-)

It's a beautiful day today. I think I'm gonna go hang around outside somewhere. Everything's updated. I just added the photos that Skateboard Bob took of Aluminum Falcon playing at the Motor City Cafe like, months ago, click here to see them, and I don't remember if I even mentioned those Die Laughing pictures I took when they played their going away party. Click here to check those out. I wish I would of gotten more pictures of the band playing, but I didn't charge my camera battery, and it died during the bands set. Booooooooo. Well, hopefully they can get back together, either here or in California, and I'll shoot them up something proper. Get their new CD if you haven't already. That thing is face shredding. The band's Facebook page is right here. :-)

Uhhhmmm... so exactly what happened at that Orgy show anyways? LOL

It's been a very draining weekend, to say the least. Doing stuff not website related is much more appealing right now than anything else, but I had to sit down and post these Pigasus photos up - click here to check them out. I'm always curious as to what people do with the pictures they take at gigs - I rarely see any of them - but there's been a lot of photos being shared on Facebook from Pigasus' last gig @ the Motor City Cafe, so I thought I'd jump on that bandwagon and get my photos around before I forget about them. :-) I'm gonna get those pictures of the other band that played that night, The Swamp Gospel, up ASAP. That band is comprised of some real heavyweights. It features ex-Muffs, Tommyknockers, and Dirty Babies! Their Cramps derived sound was pretty cool to hear, and I'm looking forward to seeing them again. Everything's updated. Happy Birthday to Annie, Eric from the Naked City Romeos (his birthday gig is this Saturday I think) and my favorite Homosexual Pitt, who I made a special cake for. ;-) Enjoy!

Where the Fuck have I been? Where the FUCK have YOU been? hahaha This time, it wasn't killing Zombies that have kept me at bay, but it was a damn cold! Go figure! Apparently, it hit Vegas pretty hard, with a lot of people I know either getting slowed up by it or completely shut down because of it, so I think I'm in good company. Good to catch it now and get it out of the way, right? Now I can get back to the website, catching up on all the shit I've been lagging on. At least that's my excuse. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Anyways, all sorts of things going on here, with lots of good gigs happening and some coming up that potentially look interesting. I was hyped on tonight's gig @ the Divebar with the Queers, but after hearing about what happened there last Friday at the Agent Orange gig and then on Sat. with the D.I. gig, I think I'll be staying home. Drama and Drunken Fools Fighting just bores me to tears. Nice to know nothing changes there, despite what they're telling people, huh? What? You didn't know Agent Orange and D.I. played @ the Divebar this past weekend? Yeah, neither did a lot of people apparently. Promoters, Bars, Clubs, whatever, try getting the info out to people and, surprise surprise!, people might show up to the gigs. A strange concept I know. And BTW, Myspace is dead. If you're posting show flyers and gig information through that fucked up beyond belief vehicle, don't forget to post the same info on Friendster too. Having been on Myspace for over 6 years now, it's been a long strange trip watching them fuck themselves up into the unworkable mediocrity spam filled machine that it currently is. Promoters - get a Facebook page. Everyone you know is on there, and if you wanna entice people to get out and check out some of the bands you have playing your venue, that's the way to do it. That, and maybe send me the info beforehand, so I can put it on my Gig Calendar page and let all 9 people who read this website know what's coming up and what's going on. Yup.

Happy Birthday Talitha!! XOXOXO times a zillion!! Me wuv you! <3

Pitt is coming to town for Thanksgiving. Just to grub with his family, and not to play a surprise reunion gig @ the Double Down with the Loud Pipes this weekend. Remember, you did NOT hear that from me. ;-) Pek was spinning through the channels and saw Jesse on Pawn Stars last night, fixing up some old Gibson ukulele that some shnook brought in. Pek's daughter seemed hyped that she had been playing and hanging out at a 'TV Star's" house. LOL Kids. You gotta love 'em. Me, I don't even hang out with Jesse in his "TV Star" house as much as I do Gibson, his precious beautiful baby boy. I just hang with him on the couch drinking Slurpees and watching football. Between watching him and watching Tony running around with Jesse's other boys playing football in the street, I'm fully entertained every Sunday afternoon. Yeah, that Tony. Grandpa Spooky. The Prince of Pinche Darkness. He came back from the South healthy and vibrant. Weird. It was a bit unsettling at first, but now I'm used to it. Tony's outlived his usefulness as mine and Jesse's Raiders good luck charm though, the bastard. After our drubbing by Pittsburgh yesterday, I'm convinced our good luck well has run dry. Looks like we'll have to rely on our backup rookie Receiver and backup Pollack Quarterback to get us that wild card spot in the playoffs. hee hee hee I've been catching up on my Hockey watching as of late, and man, the Sharks look wobbly as fuck this year. Inconsistent play and a giant clusterfuck at the Goalie position has them looking real, real bad. **sigh** Oh well. It's early, right? It's gonna be an interesting Season, that's for sure.

Yeah, I know. Who cares, right? You wanna hear about the Drama! The trip to California. Upper deckers. Garage parties. Breaking shit. The whole Jack and Pigasus thing. Hank's party. The Flexx Bronco / Last Night's Heroes gig. What happened @ the Divebar. What happened at the Beauty Bar. Brookelyn finally leaving Las Vegas and her talking shit on Facebook about people and band mates she left behind. All of that stuff, right? Well too bad. I got better things to do, and I'm gonna get to doing them right now. Everything is updated. Yada yada yada.
