I'm so glad to hear nothing but great things about that house party gig last night with Unfair Fight and Nomads and some other bands I can't recall right now. No Drama, and lots of people turned out. Good Friends. Good times. That's how it's supposed to be. :-) Oh, and some band full of Wankers and Poofs played last night too, but none of my Friends or acquaintances were stupid or lame enough to go to that farce. Oh wait... yeah they did. How Sad. See what I did there? ;-) And I didn't hear a thing about the Guttermouth show, which is either a good thing or a bad thing. Gotta love this City. No wonder Punk Rock Posing does so well here... heh

Speaking of PRP, they announced the bands playing the sacred Club shows last night, and seeing the line up had me barfing back up my oatmeal this morning. Luckily, oatmeal looks the same before or after throwing it up, so I just mixed it in with what I had left in the bowl and kept eating. Yeah, for those of you who don't see the direction this so-called "Punk" festival is heading in, then you're either ignorant, blind, or stupid, or maybe a combo of all 3. Could someone tell me why Suedehead is playing? An O.C. Pop band? WTF? Or Cashed Out, a Johnny Cash cover band? Seriously? The Untouchables? Really? Fuck off with that poseur one hit wonder shit. And I love Wanda Jackson but seriously, this is supposed to be Punk Rock Posing, not that Viva Rockasilly shit. Is she that desperate for a hipper audience now? Who thought it was a good idea for her to be playing PRP for an audience that, A) doesn't know who she is, and B) could give a shit less? I guess shilling for Jack White will make you do strange and embarrassing things like that. Oh well. And, just like last year, the Beardcore is getting their own special night as well. How cute... fuckwads.

In my haste to post something yesterday, I neglected to mention a few things that were added to the website lately. Uhhhhmmm, let's see, I posted up a bunch of Pictures recently, all of them taken @ the LVCS - go figure. The Guilty By Association photos can be seen by clicking here. I didn't get too many shots off because I had to go set up my drum set, so sorry guys. The photos I took of Mersa can be seen by clicking here. I dig those kids a lot. And the photos of I.D.F.I. can be seen by clicking here. I wrote up a Music Review for that Cash For Clay compilation that just came out recently, and you can click here to read it. There's probably more stuff to mention but I don't remember any of it right now... heh

Tonight! Instrumentalfest '13 @ Money Plays. Go check out the Bitters. I'll probably be at Scarlett if I don't just stay in altogether. Gotta be well rested for St. Patty's Day shenanigans don't ya know! Everyone and their Mom is gonna be @ the Pennywise / Anti-Flag show @ the House of Booooo's tonight, and that's just sad beyond belief. Flat brimmed hats are mandatory. If you're up early and find yourself out in Hendertucky for some gawd forsaken reason, the Civilians will be playing that festival thing going on out there, so check them out and support a band that deserves it. If you wanna work off some of that corned beef and cabbage you gorged yourself on, head down to Motor City Cafe and see F.S.P. and Last Rites tear shit up later that afternoon. Should be a cool gig. Try not to break a hip... ;-)

ACxDC
As usual, there's all sorts of things going on this weekend. Throw in the fact that it's also St. Patrick's Day weekend and you can intensify the potential fun factor by at least 12 or so.

Volbeat played at the House of Booooo's last night, but they're not worth almost $40 to see them in that place. I'd love to go to that house party that Nomads, Unfair Fight, and ACxDC are playing, but I doubt I'm gonna be done with my medical procedure in time. I'm getting more dead flesh cut and scraped off of my leg. I find the process fascinating. The drugs they give me leave me with a mean case of medicine head afterwords too, so if you're going to that house party thing tonight, I envy you... heh

How in the world did I catch a cold? Seriously?

Like I said, there's lots of stuff going on this weekend. Guttermouth with Battle Born and the Tinglerz tonight @ the LVCS. $15 and Downtown on Fri. night, St. Patrick's Day weekend? No Thanks, I'll pass. I don't need an excuse to be hassled by the Police. 3D6 is @ the Double Clown tonight as well. Ugh. Tomorrow night is that Instrumentalfest 2013 @ Money Plays with the Bitters and Dinner Music For The Gods, but I'm not a Musician so that gig holds no appeal for me. Scarlett is going down on Sat. too but I'm getting bored and complacent with that gathering of fools. And the biggest gathering of Fools is going on @ the House of Booooo's on Sat. for that Pennywise and Anti-Flag show. Phooey. Sunday if you're not drowning yourself in Jameson and green beer, and stuffing your maw with corned beef and cabbage, you could head down to the Motor City Cafe for a matinee gig with Last Rites and Fuck Shit Piss, but me, I'm gonna be at Ainjil & Dave's baby shower... drowning myself in Jameson and green beer, and stuffing my maw with whatever is laid out on the table. It's gonna be a great weekend. Try not to have too much fun...

I guess if creating a dialog amongst the Locals was the aspiration, then this Squid Hat Records showcase thing has done it's job! LOL Loads of people are talking about it, everyone's got an opinion as to who the 6 bands to be chosen are, but the majority of them don't wanna go on record as to which bands they think should play, for fear of offending their 'Friends' for whatever reason. Cowards... hahaha So, with that in mind, I presented some Local people in the know about the music scene here in Las fucking Vegas this question:

If a Record Label rep were to ask you to recommend 6 Local bands to consider him to check out to sign to their label, who would you name off? Any genre.

The answers were interesting in bands named and bands not named. After reading the answers, and conversing with the individuals who came up with them, I even more so wanted to attach names to lists, but I told them I wouldn't, and if anything, I am a man of my word, so I won't, because being anonymous behind your words on the Internet is the cool thing to do nowadays, and nobody wants to cause Drama or Trouble or Controversy on the Internet, right? Yeah right... hahaha Anyways, here's the lists people turned in. I got some free D.I. tickets for their gig next week @ the LVCS to the first 5 people who can guess who's list is who. Possible suspects include a Writer, a Drug Mule, a Shit Talker, a Bassist, a Judge of Musical Talent, another Bassist and a Curmudgeon. First come, first served gets the tickets - post your guesses in the comments and make sure you leave a way for me to get a hold of you in case your guess is correct. I'll give you a hint - one of the lists is fake... heh heh

Tony's B-Day flyer
OK, well, since I have to go to American Buckshot band practice in like 5 minutes, because of my insecure band mates arriving early, and a bratty, oversexed girl that keeps me up all night (literally and figuratively), I gotta cut this short. Before I go I wanna remind you of this amazeballs gig happening mañana at the Sand Dollar (not the Bikini Bar) for Tony Batz, aka Grandpa Spooky, aka the Prince of pinche Darkness. He's ancient even for a Vampire and tomorrow night is when we're all gathering together to play a gig and hopefully have some cake and ice cream for him but yeah, I doubt it! LOL I'm just hoping the Hawaiian Hot Dog Lady (or, as Rusty refers to her as, his future wife) is there so I can get my grub on after I play my set. And yeah, I know there's something called 'Thrashgiving' going on at the Bunkhouse with D.R.I. headlining, but looking at the bands opening it up, I'm almost willing to bet that not one of them plays real 'Thrash', ala Napalm Death or Cryptic Slaughter or some shit. Matter of fact, there's 2 loser bands playing that gig that shouldn't be allowed to play anywhere, period! ha ha ha Fucking shit talking losers - crawl off to the desert and die like the diseased rats that you are, and quit polluting our Music Scene with your Drama and Bullshit. Fucking tweekers, I swear. I hate them. Anyways, tomorrow night, you can come to a great Local show with some cool bands playing, or you could go stand around outside and wait to see a band who's long past their prime, playing with some bands you shouldn't support in any way, shape or form. The choice is yours. See you at the Sand Dollar. :-)

What a fantastic weekend. Friday night at the Copa was for the girlfriends. <3

The only thing I have to say about yesterday's Raiders game can be found here: Fire Greg Knapp Facebook page. What a fucking farce.
Unfair Fight flyer
Saturday night's Unfair Fight EP release show was a huge success. A nice assemblage of Local talent were in attendance to observe the band just slay everyone in the place with one mighty swoop of their musical axes, with Liz punctuating the perfect ending to their set by smashing her pink bass into pieces on the concrete floor, but not before she smashed up a huge TV set that was set up directly in front of the band. It was stenciled with some Punk Rock sloganeering, and the guys in the band were using it as a pulpit of sorts to elevate themselves and to better reach the crowd. Unfair Fight had the crowd eating out of the palms of their hands from the first note on, and at one point in their set they had the cutest, pull-at-you-heart-strings-adorable moment of little kids that were like 10 and under, and they were circle pitting screaming their heads off and causing havoc, all with tremendous smiles on their faces. I would of loved to have gotten a photo of it, but my camera crapped out a few songs into their set, but that was OK because it allowed me to just lay back and enjoy the music, and man did they sound great! Liz is a perfect fit and the band was playing a shitload of new material, starting off their set with all 3 songs from their brand new release called We Are The Dead. They also did some covers, and I'm not sure but I think I heard them play some Give 'Em Hell songs - Nice! :-) It was an amazing set from Unfair Fight and if you weren't there you blew it big time. Show Review to follow forthwith.

Inter Arma flyer
Everything is updated and new stuff added. Karl Bakla wrote a Show Review for the Cobra Skulls, Holding Onto Sound, The People's Whiskey and The Seriouslys gig @ the Bunkhouse last week, and you can click here to check that out. I also just added those Pictures I took of Battle Born playing Favorite's a few weeks back, and you can click here to check those out. Rise Against and The Gaslight Anthem are playing tonight. Look for them to be doing an acoustic set soon on that other 'Punk' website. ;-) Big Red has a gig going on tomorrow night @ Yayo Taco featuring Inter Arma (click here for their Facebook page), Lotus, Toxic Artillery and Morbid Faith, so if you're looking for something to do on Tuesday check that shit out. Or go Downtown and be a Hipster Dooshbag, what do I care? On Weds. The Swamp Gospel is playing with the Johnson Creek Stranglers @ the Bikini Bar, so I might go check that out, since it's right down the street from me. And then, of course, on Saturday, it's the big Guttermouth, Queers, Guilty By Association, Surrounded By Thieves, Happy Campers, Hard Pipe Hitters, Grocery Store Rejects and Lambs To Lions gig @ the Bunkhouse. 3 of those bands don't belong on that bill, and I'll leave it up to you to figure out which ones they are. ;-) Monica and I will be in attendance at that gig, looking to make our ex's feel awkward by our very presence there so please, if any of you psycho ex's see us there, please entertain the notion of coming up to either one of us and trying to engage in an exchange of witty barbs because you know we both love that oh so very much! hahaha Yeah, it's gonna be a good week...

This will probably mean nothing to the majority of you out there, but for those of you who get this, you will know EXACTLY what I am talking about when I say this:

_Chuck Bresnahan MUST GO!!!

OK, now that I got that off of my chest, time to focus on the Positive. I had a great time this weekend. If I hear that I'm 'beaming' from one more person I may just vomit. :-) Yeah, Fri. night @ the Motor City Cafe was fun. The People's Whiskey just fucking killed it with an intense set of songs that, as always, just blew me away. Nice to see Cody rocking the onethirtyeight.org shirt I had just given to him minutes before they played. LOL The drummer Luis is nothing short of phenomenal, and the other 2 guitarists are just ace. I could listen to this band for hours. I bought 2 copies of their new release 8 Tracks And Dub Sacks, because I figured I was gonna wear one copy thin after like 3 weeks of solid, non-stop listening! So far it's only been 3 days but damn, this CD is really, really fucking good. Holy shit balls is it good. Here's the video to one of the tracks on the CD called Tall Can. If you're ever in Hendertucky you better watch out for the Water Street Werewolf! He's been know to lurk in that area, stealing unsuspecting tall cans from intoxicated beer drinkers. ;-)
_There's a song on The People's Whiskey CD called Pills that could of easily been written about my psychotic ex-wife! LOL I can tell you've been taking your pills again / And drinking vodka already, yeah... Man, can I ever relate to that sentiment! hahahaha Thank Gawd those days are over. Well, for me anyways. As for my Friend that she's hooked up with currently, all I can say is you're a stupid, stupid man. And after all the Drama you know she put me through, all the Games, all the BS, you choose to get involved with that? Man, you really are retarded, aren't you? LOL Whatever Loser. Good Luck with that.

So where was I? hahaha Oh yeah, Friday night. Motor City Cafe. The Naked City Romeos were on the bill too, and they played really good (Dirk was fucking LOUD) and threw out a few new covers that I don't think any one in the place knew were covers, and they debuted a new Christmas song called Santa Is A Romeo. Fun stuff. They're a great band you should check out if you haven't already, and get their debut self titled CD because that's one excellent piece of digitally musically encoded plastic right there. I'm starting to really dig the Motor City Cafe. There's just some good people that hang out there, like Christy & Kei Tinglerz, Turbo & Kate Seriouslys, Mishelle, Skateboard Bob, and whomever else I'm forgetting. I'm always having fun there and never feeling skeeved out by the patrons or the lack of breathable air in the place. And, there's no dirty fucking hippies living in the parking lot next door to the place reporting on drug activity and drunk driving. Heh heh

Yeah, I mentioned that I found some of the onethirtyeight.org shirts with the Rorschach 'We do it because we are compelled' logo on them. I found a box of them in my garage, so if you want one, just let me know. I saw mens  M, L and XL's sizes only in there, so if you can't fit into any of those sizes, too bad. Just be careful when you wear them, because SOME people have very strong opinions about this website, and won't be afraid to share those rotten sentiments with you - or so I'm told anyways. :-)

Sat. night I was at the Cheyenne Saloon, where they apparently don't have adequate ventilation or anything other than Miller Lite on draft to drink, and there's still plenty of onethirtyeight.org stickers still hanging around the place! LOL Guttermouth brought out all sorts of freaks and weirdos to see them play, and it was good hanging out with people I haven't seen in a while, like Eastside Joe, Carlos S.F.T. and his lovely wife, all the guys in Guilty By Association, including Nick Battle Born, who I think is their new Official Drummer - Congrats Dude! I was also hanging out and drinking with my heterosexual Band Mate for Life George, who went from being the Hardest Working Man in Business to the Smartest Gambler in Las Vegas, and Punk Rock Zack, who I haven't seen since the Vegascendents Punk Rock Bowling sojourn to Oxnard a while back. That kid and I did some serious drinking that weekend, and he used me to sneak back into the place after one of the many times he got caught in the place after refusing to pay the cover price for the gig which was a bit steep. Glad I don't pay to see Guttermouth gigs though. ;-) If you watch this video I shot on my iPhone of the last 3 songs Guilty By Association did that night, you can see Zack getting roughed up in the pit and eventually getting thrown out towards the end of the Billy Joel cover they played... UGH! ha ha ha The video on my phone came out better looking than the one I took with my hand held HD camera, so I might start shooting with that more often. It was pretty handy to have around after the batteries on my HD camera died.
Yeah, Guttermouth were really good, playing a pretty much standard set of 'Hits' even after Mark promised me they were going to be playing some new songs, which he described as a bit more 'dark and mature sounding' than the stuff they usually play, which is usually about fast food chicken places, crack hallucinations or transvestite donkeys. I think I heard 1 new song played, but I'm not even sure about that. The guys in the band are all cool dudes, and hanging out with the band in the luxurious backstage area of the Cheyenne, which consisted of the kitchen area full of Booze and Drugs and fold out chairs, just brought me back to how lucky I am to have such cool people in my Life. It's always great hanging out with guys like Mark and George, good old Friends that you've known forever and share so many wonderful memories with, guys like me who were there 'back in the days' and who don't sweat the small stuff. It's really rejuvenating, to say the least. It was a fun night! And ending the night eating lemon flavored hot dogs @ the 7-11 with Sin at 4 in the morning? Priceless!! <3

One of the many things Mark, George and I were talking about was the big Goldenvoice 30th Anniversary gig happening all weekend at the Santa Monica Civic. We are all old enough to have seen pretty much all the bands that were playing the event in their prime, back in the days when they were all good and they all had their original members, so the event didn't really seem like that big of a deal. I personally didn't feel the need to make it out there for the gig, which I totally could of went to, but it's funny hearing my Friends who were there carrying on about the Black Flag 'reunion' that went on. I'm sorry to say this, but it wasn't a Black Flag reunion, despite that being the way Jerry Roach introduced it as. No Ginn, no Rollins, no Black Flag, sorry. Just seemed like a group of Friends getting together and playing some songs they like to play, songs that they helped write, putting their differences aside and just kicking out the jams, and I personally know how fun that can be. <3 Speaking of Gregg Ginn, did you see the story about how he got a bunch of Punk videos pulled from YouTube and accounts closed because they posted SST related material on there? Yeah, what a fucking dooshbag. Click here to read the story if you haven't already.

Happy Birthday to Xtal, who, I think is turning the big 25 today! LOL Be careful though - once you turn 26 it's all downhill from there dear. ;-) Oh, and this is a bit of fucked up news, but apparently some Local neighborhood creeps broke into her house where her bands rehearse and stole some instruments and amps and shit, so if you see anyone selling off the Seriouslys band equipment, please, do NOT call the Police, but instead call Turbo, and he will take care of the perpetrators in a way that is fitting for the crimes in which they are partially guilty of. Yup!

Fuck, I either don't write anything or I ramble on like the idiot I am and write a mini novel or something. The fucking sun is out bright and early this Monday morning, and I got stuff to do today. I updated the Gig Calendar page with a whole shitload of new stuff, and I brought back the Tag Board after Weebly did some updates that made it really easy to put it back on here. The Comments feature after every new posting on here is cool and all, but not alot of people utilize it, either because they don't know about it, or they're just too lazy to do it. The Tag Board gives that instant gratification that everyone seems to crave, so I put it back up to serve whatever purpose it may, both Good or Bad. 2012 is gonna be FUN! Wait and see! ;-) OK, I'm gonna go kipper a nap and then hit the ground running. Everything is updated, and I hope you're all in a good place, because I know that I am. <3

Whores

hahaha So who's been looking for some information about 2 whores on my website?? LOL
Picture
_I have this thing on the control panel of my website that tells me what people type into Internet search engines to get to my website, and it's usually stuff like 'punk shows las vegas' or 'punk rock las vegas' or whatever. So, I log onto my website to update it and hype tonight's Naked City Romeos / The People's Whiskey gig happening at the Motor City Cafe, and I see that near the top of my list of words and terms people use to get here is the name of these 2 whore bags that I used to associate with and who both ran away from Vegas to avoid being labeled as the cum guzzling attention freaks that they are. Now, I know EXACTLY what both are up to right now, and I know that they are both under attack publicly for various, well deserved reasons on their Facebook pages, and while I do receive great pleasure in seeing people call both of them out on their lies and bullshit, I'm not gonna get involved in any part of it, because, well, I got better things to do. I've washed my hands of both of those Drama Queens and refused to get sucked up into it again. I'm not gonna do it. Nope! So to "whomever" has been on here looking for dirt to use against those whore bags, I commend you for doing your homework, and wish you the best of Luck in whatever it is you're hoping to accomplish. A little advice though - those 2 bitches don't give a fuck about nothing but cock size and what you can do for them and their 'careers'. Fair warning, that's all. ;-)

It's Friday! It's Friday! It's Friday! YAAAAAYYY!! ha ha ha ha I've been sick as a dog all fucking week and I'm ready to get out and do something. Like I said earlier, tonight it's all about the Motor City Cafe, tomorrow it's all about the Cheyenne Saloon for Guttermouth and Guilty By Association. It's gonna be a fun weekend! Hope to see some good Friends along the way... hint hint :-)

Man, it seems like forever since I've sat down at my desk and pecked away at this keyboard, and today I'm trying to put some words together to remind myself of just how truly beautiful things are. The laughter of a child, the shared moment with that special someone, or even just having a beer and a smoke with your Friends while telling war stories about playing gigs and being on the road, these are just a few things that make me appreciative of what I have and what's going on around me. It's truly fucking amazing. :-)

OK, now that the hippy dippy sappy moment has passed, what the fuck is going on with the Occupy Vegas movement and the Double Down? LOL Apparently some cars belonging to patrons of that piece of shit establishment got towed on Saturday night because the Occupy Vegas movement, which consists of Hobos, Derelicts and Idealistic, Naive Youth, takes up all the Double Down excess parking spots in the car lot adjacent to that notoriously smelly and thriving human petri dish. Now sabres are being rattled on both sides, with the Occupy Vegas people threatening to report any and all suspicious activity they witness, including what people do in their cars in the parking lot and how drunk they drive once they pull away from there. Personally I support any attempts at being a bee in the Double Down's bonnet, because I can't stand the place but since I know the Occupy Vegas movement is a total joke and incapable of getting anything done, I can't help but feel that nothing will become of the groups idle threats. Sure would be nice though... heh

Raiders... UGH!! ha ha ha ha Not only is it bad enough that the Fudge Packers beat our asses like we were a high school team, but then to have the Refs still cheat for them and make those obviously biased calls against the Raiders was just pathetic. How is this allowed to still go on?? I'm willing to bet that the Raiders are the ONLY team in the NFL this year who made a red flag challenge on a play that every replay on TV showed the runner stepping waaaayyy out of bounds on a 50 yard run back, but yet the Refs replay machine was supposedly broken and they were unable to review the play, so they just let the call stand and still charged the Raiders a time out for calling the challenge. Oh football, how I love you! XOXO

I missed out on the Christmas benefit show @ the Beauty Bar on Saturday, with Deadhand and the Quitters and Battle Born (I think). I heard it was good though. I don't know why Jane's Addiction cancelled their gig at the Joint last week, but I'm sooooo glad I didn't go, because I would of been pissed off if I bought tickets to that concert. Oh, and speaking of concerts, the Darkness are playing the House of Boooooo's in February - HYPED!!

Somebody just chipped in a few days ago with an update on the Mark Hornsby / Cheyenne Saloon thing, which you can read by clicking here, and while it totally sounds like a dooshbag move I could see him pulling, at this point I think it's pretty apparent to his Friends and people who know the Truth about what happened with all that shit with the Cheyenne Saloon that dooshbag moves like this are to be expected from him. Sad but True. Regardless, someone, I forgot who, reached out to me a while ago from there, telling me that I was welcome back to the Cheyenne Saloon anytime, and to please reconsider my stance about not supporting the place, which I did, by starting to list the Gigs they were having there again. It's a small gesture but the least I can do. I don't have a problem with the Cheyenne Saloon, per se. I had a problem with that dooshbag that worked there. Now that he's gone, I got no problem going there or playing there or anything. There just wasn't a gig worth going to playing there, so I've stayed away.

Guttermouth Flyer
Which leads me to this. :-) Guttermouth is playing at the Cheyenne Saloon this Saturday night, and I'm planning on being there and so should you. Yeah, the whole 'Mark & Co.' schtick is wearing thin, but you can't deny that Guttermouth has some really good songs, and depending on how coked out the band is when they play, it's either going to be an absolutely brilliant performance, or a magnificent train wreck. In either case you're compelled to watch it - you can't help it. Local support is provided by Guilty By Association, F.S.U. and Lambs To Lions, whoever they are. There's another Local band opening this gig, but they have a bass player who is a piece of shit loser and so I don't support or promote them, even going as far as to take their name off of the flyer for the gig. Yeah, I'm petty like that. ;-) God may Forgive, and even I do occasionally, but what I never do no matter what is Forget. Never. Fuck you Sector 7-G. Fuck you.

Naked City Romeos flyer
Well, since I'm hyping up Gigs, why not mention this little piece of amazement going down right here: The Naked City Romeos and The People's Whiskey @ Motor City Cafe this Friday night. I will definitely be attending this one, because I have to pick up a copy of that new CD The People's Whiskey just released - I'm dying to hear it! :-) Man, I bet it's just phenomenal. Reverend Lord's Unholy Saints are opening, but I don't know a thing about them. I heard there might be a Drama connection with them, but you know how rumors are, so until I verify it for myself, I believe nothing! LOL Regardless, this is going to be a great gig and if you're not too burned out from Christmas shopping and all that crap than stop on by and have some fun and maybe a drink or 2 or 3. There's no snitches hanging out in the parking lot @ the Motor City Cafe... heh heh

So yeah, I think I've written enough. It's breakfast time and I gotta get some sleep. :-) Everything's updated, a bunch of new stuff was added to the website but damn if I can remember what any of it was, nor do I care. Browse around and find it for yourself. Think of it like an Easter egg hunt or something... hee hee hee See you at the gigs!

Why do people doubt me. I told you that Last Shot Tattoos had cancelled all shows, I told you I had seen the bulletin, I told you I had talked to the bands, and yet, no one believed me when I said it like, days ago. So now you know it's true. No more shows @ Last Shot. Like I said before, boo fucking hoo. There were 3 local bands here in town who "somehow" got to play every show there, so I guess that Last Shot not doing anymore shows there only effects them. There's no way the tuff guys who work there are gonna go against the Owners and The Police for the sake of Punk Rock. You kids messed up another venue. Good for you. Don't bitch about not having a place to play though, crybabies. Can't have your cake and eat it too, fuckers.

Guttermouth's show last night @ The University Theatre was a huge success, or so I heard. I didn't make it there for a few very personal reasons. Please don't ask 'cuz I'm sick of telling. Guttermouth did play a "super secret" show @ The Double Down afterwords though, so if you were lucky enough to see both sets by them, I'm sure you woke up pretty sore and hung over this morning, or more than likely, this afternoon... heh heh heh.

Gonna cut it short, but I have lots more to say, especially about that Infernal Wackshit kid Chris Piss. Oh man. Can't wait to give you my 2 cents on that one. Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone. I'm sorry for flaking on everyone this weekend, but I have a real good reason. A few of them, actually, but I'm not ready to go public with them yet, and maybe I never will. Who knows. Thank you Sin. Just what I needed to hear.

Tonight is the Guttermouth show @ The University Theatre. I totally spaced it and forgot that it was happening tonight, even though it's listed on my Myspace page as well as on this website. Senility I tells ya ! Marc is in town (if you see him before I do, ask him when that Republic reunion is happening), so I'm hoping to hang out with him and George and Jennifer, The Maker of Cheese Drums, as well as George, The Hardest Working Man In The Business World this weekend, as well as my old guitar playing mutant boy buddy Darryl Skytzo, who's band Crash Course (click here to check out their Myspace page) is playing The Double Down on Saturday night. Ugh. St. Patrick's Day. I'm avoiding green beer like the plague. Corned Beef and Cabbage, Jameson's Whiskey, Irish Car Bombs, big titty Red Headed women, I'm all about it, but green beer ? Phooey. I have some very interesting options available, like dinner and a movie (again babe ? LOL), bar hopping, Circus Circus (don't ask) or house parties galore. Any other suggestions. Chances are I'm just gonna get drunk and pass out early somewhere like I usually do, but at least this time I won't be stranded. Or wake up sticky. Or will I ?

I think Infestshit is finally taking a step in the right direction and finally gettin off their asses and getting into a recording studio. Thank Allah. I'm so sick of hearing Brian introduce a song that we have been playing for over a year now as "a new song" (coughcoughDeathTollRisingcoughcough) when we have like 4 or 5 brand spanking new, already done, ready to be recorded, sick as fuck tunes we could be playing. If you've seen us lately you've heard us play War Machine. As sick as that song is, the new stuff is sicker. A bit disturbing too. I like it. Hopefully the recorded stuff sees the light of day, and hopefully, we'll be playing them live somewhere, like when we're opening up for Conflict on their upcoming Tour. Is anyone besides me amazed that a band like Infestshit is opening up 4 shows for them on their only American Tour ? Holy fuck. Say what you want about their politics or their choice of musical directions, but Conflict draws HUGE crowds, and it's gonna be funny watching Infestshit playing in front of an audience that big, while Steve Ignorant stands off to the side of the stage, checking them out as well.... hee hee hee

In keeping with the newly started tradition, I present to you onethirtyeight.org's newest friend, Fluent. Click here to check out their Myspace page. They're a band from AZ. with a sound leaning more towards Limp Bisquick and Korn and Rage Against The Machine territory, but since they made the effort to ask to be my friend, I figure the least I can do is ask you to check them out. It's okay to admit you like that stuff. Sometimes the most punk thing to do is the unexpected. Think about it.

Thanks to Sal from Give 'Em Hell for correcting me about the S.S. Hookers thing. Once again, bad reporting on my part. I could of checked any one of the flyers that were around Myspace, but didn't. Please don't send Tony Batz after me for attempting to slander your good bands name Sir. I'll be good, I promise.

Recent Hollywood transplant and Loud and Proud N.A.M.B.L.A. member New York Shane is supposedly coming into town April 3-5 for the Viva Las Vegas shindig happening here. Can you say LOSER ? I bet you can. I am only telling you this so when you see his phone number come up on your cell phone, you can ignore it like I do and avoid him like the plaque. You don't wanna be associated with heathen scum like him. He's bad luck. The man was born to lose. Don't let him take you down the shitter with him. Stay away. Char, I hope you're reading this... hahahahaha.

I would just like to say that Justin is the nicest guy in the world and working out most excellent. To watch him and George write out Tabliture for songs we're working on is fascinating. It's like a secret language or something that only musicians understand. It's neat. We're gonna demo some stuff Sunday, of course, assuming that I don't die, get arrested, or end up somewhere I shouldn't be after St. Patrick's Day festivities. Wish me luck. Hope to see some of you fucks out and about somewhere. Especially you know who. <3

Hee hee hee... I just had the best talk with my bro Hollywood Shane just a bit ago, and it put me in a better state of mind. Not that I wasn't in a good state of mind to begin with, but he just elevated me to a complete other level. Besides our swapping of some Idle Gossip, we made plans to hang out there when I'm in L.A. next month and to see some shows when I'm in town. That man is a bleedin' nutter and I love him to Death. It was a weekend of talking to old friends, which is why I was in such a good mood. Even though the theme of every discussion was What happened with you and the band?, it was still nice to just reminisce about days gone by. Anyways, the Supersuckers show is this Wednesday, hope to see you all out there. I posted 3 new Reviews (Green Day and Rudimentary Peni and the Clash), and other than that everything is peachy keen. Thanks to the new people who have joined up to the onethirtyeight.org Myspace group, and thanks to everyone that IM's me or sends me the emails... it's always nice to know who your friends are. I'm gonna be posting up some old Interviews that I've done (the first one is gonna be with Guttermouth), since I wanna get back into doing some more of that stuff. I have some bands in mind here in town that I wanna talk to in depth, so don't be surprised when my request comes your way. And to the bands that want me to drum for them... well... I'm still thinking about it...
