Ya know, for someone who's as big of an asshole as I am, I sure did get a lot of cool Christmas presents this year. What's up with that? LOL Thanks to everyone for everything I was given - it was seriously and truly appreciated. Major Hugs & Kisses to you all.

It's funny that everywhere I go as of late people keep asking me if I really liked the Seriously's or if I was just being nice. Apparently, some people don't know me all that well, because one, I'm not a nice guy and two, if I didn't like the band, I wouldn't of said shit about them on here - no mention, no backhanded compliments, nothing. My days of kissing some bands ass just to get something out of them are looooooong over. I saw the band, I liked them, I wrote what I did, and that's that. You all will have the opportunity to check them out yourselves at the next gig the Seriously's play, whenever that is, and then you can either agree with what I said or come up with your own assessment. I believe you will like what you hear.

Speaking of checking out bands, this Thursday @ the LVCS, another Benefit gig for the poor kids of Africa to get a well dug is happening, and it's featuring Dick Falcon, Last Night's Heroes (hopefully) and the debut of a band called Viva Valhalla, comprised of a bunch of people you may know, like Tony from Thirteen34 / Give 'Em Hell / Swenson Street Hookers, and some other band called the Sonorous Tubes or something like that, and Dave, aka the Pikey, an English bloke who you would know from being a crazy gifted tattoo artist @ Last Chance Tattoo and as someone you see at gigs around town, usually on the arm of Ainjil from Pigasus, who owns his hair and his feet and everything in between. ;^) Anyways, come out and support a great cause and see the debut of a band that's either gonna be really, really good, or a major dud of a disappointment. There will be no middle ground accepted from these guys, promise.

Where the Fuck have I been? Where the FUCK have YOU been? hahaha This time, it wasn't killing Zombies that have kept me at bay, but it was a damn cold! Go figure! Apparently, it hit Vegas pretty hard, with a lot of people I know either getting slowed up by it or completely shut down because of it, so I think I'm in good company. Good to catch it now and get it out of the way, right? Now I can get back to the website, catching up on all the shit I've been lagging on. At least that's my excuse. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Anyways, all sorts of things going on here, with lots of good gigs happening and some coming up that potentially look interesting. I was hyped on tonight's gig @ the Divebar with the Queers, but after hearing about what happened there last Friday at the Agent Orange gig and then on Sat. with the D.I. gig, I think I'll be staying home. Drama and Drunken Fools Fighting just bores me to tears. Nice to know nothing changes there, despite what they're telling people, huh? What? You didn't know Agent Orange and D.I. played @ the Divebar this past weekend? Yeah, neither did a lot of people apparently. Promoters, Bars, Clubs, whatever, try getting the info out to people and, surprise surprise!, people might show up to the gigs. A strange concept I know. And BTW, Myspace is dead. If you're posting show flyers and gig information through that fucked up beyond belief vehicle, don't forget to post the same info on Friendster too. Having been on Myspace for over 6 years now, it's been a long strange trip watching them fuck themselves up into the unworkable mediocrity spam filled machine that it currently is. Promoters - get a Facebook page. Everyone you know is on there, and if you wanna entice people to get out and check out some of the bands you have playing your venue, that's the way to do it. That, and maybe send me the info beforehand, so I can put it on my Gig Calendar page and let all 9 people who read this website know what's coming up and what's going on. Yup.

Happy Birthday Talitha!! XOXOXO times a zillion!! Me wuv you! <3

Pitt is coming to town for Thanksgiving. Just to grub with his family, and not to play a surprise reunion gig @ the Double Down with the Loud Pipes this weekend. Remember, you did NOT hear that from me. ;-) Pek was spinning through the channels and saw Jesse on Pawn Stars last night, fixing up some old Gibson ukulele that some shnook brought in. Pek's daughter seemed hyped that she had been playing and hanging out at a 'TV Star's" house. LOL Kids. You gotta love 'em. Me, I don't even hang out with Jesse in his "TV Star" house as much as I do Gibson, his precious beautiful baby boy. I just hang with him on the couch drinking Slurpees and watching football. Between watching him and watching Tony running around with Jesse's other boys playing football in the street, I'm fully entertained every Sunday afternoon. Yeah, that Tony. Grandpa Spooky. The Prince of Pinche Darkness. He came back from the South healthy and vibrant. Weird. It was a bit unsettling at first, but now I'm used to it. Tony's outlived his usefulness as mine and Jesse's Raiders good luck charm though, the bastard. After our drubbing by Pittsburgh yesterday, I'm convinced our good luck well has run dry. Looks like we'll have to rely on our backup rookie Receiver and backup Pollack Quarterback to get us that wild card spot in the playoffs. hee hee hee I've been catching up on my Hockey watching as of late, and man, the Sharks look wobbly as fuck this year. Inconsistent play and a giant clusterfuck at the Goalie position has them looking real, real bad. **sigh** Oh well. It's early, right? It's gonna be an interesting Season, that's for sure.

Yeah, I know. Who cares, right? You wanna hear about the Drama! The trip to California. Upper deckers. Garage parties. Breaking shit. The whole Jack and Pigasus thing. Hank's party. The Flexx Bronco / Last Night's Heroes gig. What happened @ the Divebar. What happened at the Beauty Bar. Brookelyn finally leaving Las Vegas and her talking shit on Facebook about people and band mates she left behind. All of that stuff, right? Well too bad. I got better things to do, and I'm gonna get to doing them right now. Everything is updated. Yada yada yada.

Oh man, I hate when shit like this happens. Gregory Isaacs passed away yesterday. To say it came as a bit of a shock is an understatement. The King of Lover's Rock. The Cool Ruler. The Lonely Lover. And now he's gone. Fuck. He was scheduled to play Oct. 8 @ the Hard Rock, but cancelled. Now I know why - the lung cancer he died from. Man, Life is Fragile, isn't it? All Respect due to Gregory Isaacs. Your journey is over. Jah bless. May you find your way home to Zion.

Ari-Up from the Slits passed away a few days ago as well, but I didn't really care too much about that, because the Slits have always, always sucked, figuratively and literally, in my book. How do you think they got that opening slot on that Clash Tour? It sure wasn't because of their musical talent, that's for sure! hee hee hee

Busy weekend. Fri. I dragged my tired ass out to see S.F.T. play on the hallowed Holy grounds of the Sanctuary, which is apparently a church of some sorts. It was my first time seeing the band play, and I really dug what I was hearing from them. True 'Hardcore" punk rock played really well, with snarling guitar riffs, scaling bass runs and fast and furious punk rock drumming, all lead by a singer who apologized for the band being as sober as they were! LOL As good as the band was, it didn't beat what was the highlight of the night was, and that was the opening band. Comprised of a bunch of 15 and 16 year old kids playing through little 20 watt practice amps and a tiny ass drum set, they pretty much nailed it perfectly when they came off the stage and walked out the back door and announced for all to hear 'Dude, we sucked!'. hahahahaha It was brutally honest and a perfect summation of the bands set. How could you not love that?

Sat. night was the dual debut performance of Aluminum Falcon and Last Night's Heroes, opening up for Betting On Tomorrow and the Sex Slaves, who apparently thought it was cool to have spinner rims covering their amplifier speakers. Don't ask. Last Night's Heroes were the best thing about the evening, with their set full of songs that were only Punk in the broadest, most general of terms, but still played a fanfuckingtastic set of mid-tempo tunes that had me standing there in my Storm Trooper costume rocking along to every note played. Jeremy standing right next to me in his Jabba The Hut costume must of made us quite the eye catching pair standing front and center during Last Night's Heroes set. They were really good, and I'm looking forward to seeing a whole lot more of them in the future. Bands like them keep me optimistic on the future of the LVMS.

Yeah, my new band Aluminum Falcon played as well, and for some reason we thought it would be a great idea to perform our debut gig in full regalia Star Wars costumes, as if we needed something else to make the task before us more difficult. What seemed like a good idea at the time turned out to be an almost an epic fail when things like singing and playing and jumping around in costumes was taken into account, not to mention the absolute horror of trying to breathe in one of those things. I myself almost passed out twice behind the kit, but kept the damn costume on for the entire duration. Yaaaayyy me! I can't say the same about one of my other band mates though... coughcoughJeremycoughcough. :-) Anyways, I had a blast, people seemed to like us, whether it was because of the tunes or the costumes I don't know, but I do know this - we will NOT be playing every gig in costume, that's for sure! hahaha The pictures Jesse 'The Super Photographer" Nabers took that night looked amazing, as usual. Can't wait to see the rest of them.

59-14. Against the Broncos. It could not have been any sweeter, nor could it have happened against a more deserving team. :-) Raider Nation Por Vida! In Hockey Land, I'm still of the belief that Niemi is a cocksucker who gives up soft rebounds and sloppy shots and who won't be a Shark next year. I think his signing was a mistake. Nittymaki is much better suited to Team Teal. 7 points in 7 games gives us 82 for the season, much worse than last year, and no where near what's needed to make the playoffs. I am not optimistic.

In conclusion, I got Court tomorrow, and I don't think I'm walking out of there. When your own Lawyer tells you to bring your toothbrush, it can't be good, right? LOL Ahhhhh... I'm forever optimistic, but just in case, if you don't hear from me by Weds. afternoon, well, see ya next year! hahaahhaaa Happy Halloween everyone!

hahahahaha Man, what with all the excitement of the Nails gig @ Yayo Taco, the place across the street from me catching fire and being revealed to be a marijuana grow house, and the fuel pump going out on my car (again), and with my new band Aluminum Falcon having their first gig Oct. 23 @ LVCS with Betting On Tomorrow, Last Night's Heroes (Miss La-La Liz's new band) and some lame-o's called the Sex Slaves (don't even ask), I've been slacking on my sports watching, with pretty much NHL Opening Day 2010 going by without a peep, and I don't like that, so I decided to do some Monday morning quarterbacking today, especially after catching the last quarter of that Raiders / Chargers game yesterday. To wake up so late in the afternoon and have my team still in the hunt was both shocking and exciting. We had a chance to win, and win we did with the Defense finally coming through for us (as best they could anyways) and with Campbell, of all people, leading the team up and down the field, putting points on the board after runs of 55, 97 and 73 yards. Special teams were great on blocking those punts in the 1st quarter, and that roughing the kicker pass in the 2nd was complete bullshit! UGH! It was a see-saw battle towards the end there, but once Branch scooped up that fumble and ran it in for the touchdown near the end of the 4th, I started the celebration, which consisted of me talking shit to all my Family and Friends both here and back home who are Chargers fans, rubbing it in that the 13 game losing streak was broken. Yeah, I was doubtful, I admit it, but man, I love when my team does the unexpected and proves me wrong. Looking forward to the 49ers game next week! We gonna be partying at the Amoroso Villa Bay Area style! hahahaha

The Bay Area - my Obsession. The San Jose Sharks - another Obsession! Yeah, NHL season is finally here (Praise El Duce!) and my team is doing OK so far. I'm still not sold on Niemi as our goaltender, but what the fuck. We came out of Germany with 3 points, and that's not bad. 4 would of been nice, but I'll take the 3. Norton wearing the C has him shooting more, and Heatley and Marleau are still the best friends he's got, but sometimes we looked good out there, and sometimes we looked scared. It's early in the season, and as always, I remain forever optimistic. I'm not saying that the Sharks will be in contention for the Cup towards the end of the season, but hey - anything's possible, right? ;-)

Go to the Young Livers / Holding On To Sound / Lydia Vance / TheCore gig tonight @ the Bunkhouse. For the Local bands alone it's worth the price of admission. If anyone would like to give me a ride there and back, it would be greatly appreciated... wink wink!

Hi! How are YOU doing? That's just great. Me too! hahahaha I wish I could say I had some epic reason why I haven't been updating the website, but the Truth is that I just don't care. It's not a priority right now, as looking for a house and packing up all my shit in plastic bins and making sweet, sweet music with my friends is a bit more important than coming on here and going blah blah blah about anything and everything that I wish to. There is some stuff to share though - some funny, some rad, and some pathetic. I'll leave it to you to decide what's what.

First off, look at this ad that Roy from the Black Jetts found on Craigslist this past Fri. under the Musicians category:

Chris Piss Craigslist Ad
I wish I could take credit for this, but I can't.
Funny, right? And if it's true, well, that's just pathetic. Personally, I don't think it's true, but what do I know? I mean, is it possible for someone to be sooooooo hypocritical as to be all Anti-Authority and Punk Rock and whatever and then use the Cops to solve their problems for them? Well, I know of one little crybaby homo who did just that to me personally, but I never thought I'd see a second one pop up in the same city! LOL I mean, what are the odds? Why, that's just as silly as someone's band putting on an Anti-Barfest gig and then playing any bar that would 'stupiedily' let them into the place! ;-) I contacted the person who posted this ad, and I know them, and I'm assured that it's all true, every single word written, and every single action described. tsk tsk tsk... Oh Chris, I thought you were better than that.

The less said about the Pixies the better. I was almost ashamed that so many of my male friends thought that the gig they just played was 'mind blowing' and 'amazing'. They fucking suck! Always have, always will. If you have a vagina it's OK to like them but if you're a dude, I mean, come on... less estrogen, more testosterone! LOL

When Marco and Hank! (the new way you pronounce and spell his name - by yelling it) get hyped on a gig, I usually pay attention. The last time I did that, I was turned on to the Legendary band Knife Fight, so now that those 2 pillars of punk rockedness are hyped on this upcoming Nails / Fleas / Ruined Tongue / Lluks gig @ Yayo Taco next week, you know I gotta be there to see what it's all about, and I think you should be there too!

Happy Belated Happy Birthday wishes to the amazing Lizzy, bass player extraordinaire for the new band Last Night's Heroes, who's Facebook page can be found by clicking here. Happy Birthday Liz! I definitely owe you a drink or 2 or 3. ;-)

There's some sort of benefit show happening at East Side Joe's this weekend, for some guy who has Cancer. The State Streets are playing. I know nothing more than that about it, but if I get some more info about it I'll let you know. And did I see that my favorite band of shit talking hypocrite Feministas the Broads played a gig @ Yayo Taco this past Monday? Wowsers. Seems to be missing some people too, if this Myspace band page is a real one, which I don't think it is, but it is the only one that pops up when you do a search on them. Their old band Myspace page is strangely gone. ::sigh:: Some bands just need to realize that a name change is in order before you can begin anew. Too much baggage associated with an old name will only hinder, not help, but hey, what do I know? Good Luck drama queens - you're gonna need it.

Everything is updated, I think. Dragons pictures are posted. Auf wiedersehen and verpiss dich to a real piece of scheisse that just left Las Vegas with his tail tucked between his legs and with every bridge he had left in this town burned to the ground, off to San Diego to find some fresh people to lie to and to find a scene that will accept him and his steady stream of bullshit that comes out of his mouth, something that I hear that he's into... heh heh heh. To that foze I say, ficken dich. Du bist ein verdammter Wichser, ya know? If you're lucky, Karma will get to you before I do, and that's all I gotta say about that. Believe that. Off to go pack some more stuff up. Toodles! :-)
