To all you Haters and Nosy Fucks out there - I had a blast in Seattle! ;-)

Yeah, nothing makes you appreciate being back Home than visiting someplace that you don't like. Love the Company I'm with, but Hate the City, if that makes any sense. Anyways, after getting back to reality I was surprised to see so many people giving a shit about Ryan Dunn passing away. I mean, really? Who gives a fuck? The way some of my friends were carrying on about him on Facebook was disgusting, calling him a "Hero" and an "Inspiration to me when I was a kid" and other shit like that? Again, really? In case you missed my summation of it on Facebook, I present it to you here:

Rich guy drunk as fuck gets into his Porsche and drives off and kills himself and his friend... boo fucking hoo. I guess he's well Dunn now, huh?

Which I guess is true, since TMZ.com is reporting that he was sort of alive while the fire was burning what was left of his car. Some reports say he was found half in/out of the door, possibly indicating he was trying to climb out, but when you consider that the damn engine of the car was found 50 feet further ahead of the wreckage, then I'd like to believe that there was no way in Hell those 2 fools knew what the fuck was going on. Breathing, maybe, Alive, not a snowballs chance in you know where. And yeah, I called them fools. Drunk driving, late night country road, going about 130 mph. Somehow, that just doesn't sound like a good combination to me... heh Oh well. Live Fast, Die Young, Leave a Pretty Corpse, right? Yeah, whatever with that noise. He was neither young nor pretty when he made a bad decision that cost him his Life. Phooey. And the stuff they're selling about him on ebay is just ridiculous. Click here to see for yourself. iPhone covers? Zippo lighters? ::BARF::

Yeah, it's a slow news week, so what? LOL I'm still suffering from this weekends past shenanigans, and band practice isn't helping. I think I'm gonna go pass out now. The Queers are playing @ the Divebar tomorrow tonight, and you should all go! I think I might. Everything is updated. A shitload of new gigs were added to the Gig Calendar page, and the Videos page has been updated with all the links working now, and pretty much everything I have is posted up there. And with that, I leave you with 1 of the last 3 Freddie McGregor videos from Reggae In The Desert 2011 I just posted on my YouTube page. It's his cover of that classic 70's Main Ingredients song Just Don't Want To Be Lonely. It was his 1st encore. This song rules. Praise Jah! and all of that malarkey. See you at the gigs this week! Zombie Prom! Woo Hoo!

Where the Fuck have I been? Where the FUCK have YOU been? hahaha This time, it wasn't killing Zombies that have kept me at bay, but it was a damn cold! Go figure! Apparently, it hit Vegas pretty hard, with a lot of people I know either getting slowed up by it or completely shut down because of it, so I think I'm in good company. Good to catch it now and get it out of the way, right? Now I can get back to the website, catching up on all the shit I've been lagging on. At least that's my excuse. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Anyways, all sorts of things going on here, with lots of good gigs happening and some coming up that potentially look interesting. I was hyped on tonight's gig @ the Divebar with the Queers, but after hearing about what happened there last Friday at the Agent Orange gig and then on Sat. with the D.I. gig, I think I'll be staying home. Drama and Drunken Fools Fighting just bores me to tears. Nice to know nothing changes there, despite what they're telling people, huh? What? You didn't know Agent Orange and D.I. played @ the Divebar this past weekend? Yeah, neither did a lot of people apparently. Promoters, Bars, Clubs, whatever, try getting the info out to people and, surprise surprise!, people might show up to the gigs. A strange concept I know. And BTW, Myspace is dead. If you're posting show flyers and gig information through that fucked up beyond belief vehicle, don't forget to post the same info on Friendster too. Having been on Myspace for over 6 years now, it's been a long strange trip watching them fuck themselves up into the unworkable mediocrity spam filled machine that it currently is. Promoters - get a Facebook page. Everyone you know is on there, and if you wanna entice people to get out and check out some of the bands you have playing your venue, that's the way to do it. That, and maybe send me the info beforehand, so I can put it on my Gig Calendar page and let all 9 people who read this website know what's coming up and what's going on. Yup.

Happy Birthday Talitha!! XOXOXO times a zillion!! Me wuv you! <3

Pitt is coming to town for Thanksgiving. Just to grub with his family, and not to play a surprise reunion gig @ the Double Down with the Loud Pipes this weekend. Remember, you did NOT hear that from me. ;-) Pek was spinning through the channels and saw Jesse on Pawn Stars last night, fixing up some old Gibson ukulele that some shnook brought in. Pek's daughter seemed hyped that she had been playing and hanging out at a 'TV Star's" house. LOL Kids. You gotta love 'em. Me, I don't even hang out with Jesse in his "TV Star" house as much as I do Gibson, his precious beautiful baby boy. I just hang with him on the couch drinking Slurpees and watching football. Between watching him and watching Tony running around with Jesse's other boys playing football in the street, I'm fully entertained every Sunday afternoon. Yeah, that Tony. Grandpa Spooky. The Prince of Pinche Darkness. He came back from the South healthy and vibrant. Weird. It was a bit unsettling at first, but now I'm used to it. Tony's outlived his usefulness as mine and Jesse's Raiders good luck charm though, the bastard. After our drubbing by Pittsburgh yesterday, I'm convinced our good luck well has run dry. Looks like we'll have to rely on our backup rookie Receiver and backup Pollack Quarterback to get us that wild card spot in the playoffs. hee hee hee I've been catching up on my Hockey watching as of late, and man, the Sharks look wobbly as fuck this year. Inconsistent play and a giant clusterfuck at the Goalie position has them looking real, real bad. **sigh** Oh well. It's early, right? It's gonna be an interesting Season, that's for sure.

Yeah, I know. Who cares, right? You wanna hear about the Drama! The trip to California. Upper deckers. Garage parties. Breaking shit. The whole Jack and Pigasus thing. Hank's party. The Flexx Bronco / Last Night's Heroes gig. What happened @ the Divebar. What happened at the Beauty Bar. Brookelyn finally leaving Las Vegas and her talking shit on Facebook about people and band mates she left behind. All of that stuff, right? Well too bad. I got better things to do, and I'm gonna get to doing them right now. Everything is updated. Yada yada yada.

Random conversation #61 heard outside the Box Office last night:

"Hey, how did you hear about this show?"
"Oh, I read about it on this website called 138."
hahahahaha

Random conversation #247, 312 and 341 heard at the Beauty Bar:

"I didn't even know the Bronx were playing until I read about it on your website!"
hee hee hee

Yeah, I think I've found my niche with the website. Gig information. I know lots of people get info about gigs from here, because they tell me so, or they copy my misinformation and misspellings word for word and put them up on their Myspace pages. **coughcoughlasvegaspunkshowlist** hahahaha Who cares? As long as the message is getting out there, that's all that matters.

Yeah, taking a little break from playing my beloved video game, recovering from a rowdy night of gigging about town. That Outbreak / Hour Of The Wolf / Smartbomb / Murder Majesty / Start! gig was a pretty sweet way to start the night. Smartbomb were sooooooooooo fucking good. Hour Of The Wolf was a bit disappointing, because they had this wimpy drummer playing behind them, taking away a lot from the power of the music, and they seemed a bit off for some reason, I dunno. I wasn't the only one who noticed that either. It was funny when they were onstage telling the story of how Joe The Fireman had his leg broken when they played Vegas the last time @ East Side Joe's, and how Eastside Joe didn't want him calling an ambulance to the place, and how nobody would give him a ride to the hospital either, so Joe The Fireman had to hobble his ass away from Eastside Joe's to call an ambulance for himself somewhere down the street... hahahaha Poor guy! Outbreak were fucking fantastic and I got a kick in the eye from an errant stage diver for my trouble and stupidity in standing right near the front of the stage. Oh well. It was worth it. They were really fucking good. Piss poor turnout though. Could it have been from a lack of promotion, perhaps? Yeah, probably. Highlight of the night had to be when we were standing around talking about the upcoming Queers gig @ the Divebar, when someone asked who was opening, and someone else said Murder Majesty, and then Hank!, in a loud ass voice goes "MURDER MAJESTY! FUCK THOSE GUYS! THEY OPEN ALL..." and quickly trailed off at the end because Sean from Murder Majesty was standing 5 feet behind him! hhahahahaahaha Hank! strikes again! Fun times @ the Box Office. It was great that Sal was being called the Old Guy and not me for once! ;-)

After that gig everybody and their Mom was @ the Beauty Bar to see The Bronx playing for free. I love running into people who I talk to all the time on Facebook and having them completely ignore me when I try to talk to them in real life! LOL Mariachi El Bronx were disgustingly horrible, and to see all the Caucasions getting all romantic to the lame ass  tunes being played was gloriously entertaining. You would of thought it was a high school dance or something! LOL The band needed a tuba player and some Spanish cat calls to make the sham more believable though. Seriously. Lame. As. Fuck. I almost left it was so terrible. All was forgiven about an hour later when the Bronx proper took the stage. Intensity level went through the roof from the first note played onwards, and as one of the bodies being pummelled up front against the low slung stage, I again caught a kick to the eye - same eye, same situation - an errant stage diver. I stood in the back after that and watched the action from the rear. My Momma didn't raise no fool! LOL The Bronx were ridiculously awesome, and although I'm not that big of a fan of theirs, they did play my favorite song by them, Shitty Future, so I'm happy I was there. Why weren't you there? Something better going on? No matter the case, if you weren't there, you missed out big time! Pictures are already posted. Show Review might be forthcoming, who knows?

OK. Back to my video games. There's a cool gig going on tonight with Megaton Leviathon and Dead Neon happening @ the LVCS tonight. If you're in the mood to have your face grinded off and to have your ears blownn out to utter uselessness, then you should try to stop by and be prepared to be annhilated. That band Bad Taste are playing the Sanctuary tonight too, and I'd go, but I'm kind of in recovery mode. Doesn't mean you shouldn't go though. :-)
Bad Taste Flyer
any flyer with Bart Simpson on it is a winner in my book!
Tomorrow it's all about this gig, again, at the LVCS, featuring TurbonegrA, an all female tribute to every Turbojugend's raison d'etre! Local support is amazing, and you do not wanna miss this gig - Seriously!

I GOT ERECTION!!!
If you're out and about early enough, you can catch this gig which is apparently Die Laughing's last gig ever, as one of the band members is moving away or becoming a Priest or a Mormon or something. ;-) This is going to be an excellent get together. Come out and have some fun. Don't be one of those brain dead zombies who just waste their Life away playing video games - oh wait... hahahaha

I'm sitting in the turn lane at Desert Inn and Paradise when my car just goes dead. No warning lights, no rough running, just instant Death. Phooey. Thankfully my band mate Jeremy rescued me and helped me get my car towed to the rehearsal studio, where it sits awaiting to be taken to a garage and get repaired. The fuel pump went out. Apparently it happens. All of these shenanigans kept me from making it to the 400 Blows gig on time @ the LVCS on Friday, but I walked in just as 400 Blows was finishing up their set to a crowd of about 20 people in the place who could give a flying fuck less at the noise blaring from the stage area. 400 Blows was dying a slow death on stage, and I found myself strangely attracted to watching them do it. The band on stage looked like a bunch of dour L.A. douche bags all dressed in black, with the Singer looking like Brendan Flowers from the Killers if he decided to dress up like a cop. The guitar player looked like he should be playing for Venom and the drummer looked like Stewart Copeland and was just as good a player as he is. The drummer made watching 400 Blows bearable. The dude was just fanfuckingtastic. There was no bass player, but I think the guitarist was making bass noises on his guitar and sending them through to a bass cabinet that was set up directly behind the drummer, resulting in a huge clusterfuck of sound that just wasn't working for me. There was no one watching the band play but me and like 3 other dudes - they seemed to be enjoying it, though, so what do I know. The drummer and guitarist would lock into a groove that would make Jesus Lizard jealous, and then it would get ruined by the Singer's pretentious lyrics and ham handed stage posturing. Phooey. 400 Blows was a huge disappointment, not matching up in any way, shape or form to the band I enjoyed on the Black Rainbow and the Angels Trumpets And Devil's Trombones releases. Maybe I caught a bad gig? Hope so.

I thought the gig was over after 400 Blows, but apparently, the Black Jetts flaked out on playing, perhaps scared of the awesome rock infused power that Pigasus generates, and so all bands played early, and the Tinglerz were left to play clean up to a crowd that was more interested in watching girls ride the mechanical bull than by anything the Tinglerz were playing, which was a shame. They missed out on a guitar laden, energy filled, adrenaline infused set of Rock N Roll that was just vicious to watch. Kei is the guitar overlord Master of his instrument, cranking out thick, crunchy riffs that were perfectly complimented by a bass player that was conjuring up images of Mike Dirnt in both playing and performing. The drummer was young and not a very hard hitter, and even with his drum kit mic'd up, I could barely hear him, and I was standing right against the barriers in front of the stage! LOL It didn't matter one bit, because the Tinglerz played a killer set that had me wondering out loud why more people are not into this band. Was Joe Perv's association with the Tinglerz that bad of a thing? Apparently so. Kei has a lot of work to do if he hopes to over come that tremendous mistake in his musical career. Funny, you think he would of learned his lesson the first time around, when Kei was an original member of the Pervz. Oh well. The highlight of the evening was listening to Jeremy and his friends Brad and Glenn doing this round robin exercise with telling the story of how they got involved with a drunken bar brawl at Hennessey's Tavern downstairs from the LVCS during the Darby O'Gill And The Little People gig, where they skipped out on a bar tab that was well over $100. It would start out with one of them saying, 'And then, a Ninja popped up, and started throwing ninja stars around', and then the next one would say something like 'Yeah, and then I caught one of the ninja stars with my teeth, and I threw it at the waitress, killing her instantly', and then without missing the beat the next one would say, 'And that's why we couldn't pay our bar tab'... hahaha It was funny listening to the camaraderie going on between the 3. Having Friends to fuck around with like that is just the best, and it was a good way to end what could of been a really shitty night.

The rest of the weekend was all about Xbox and Football. Looks like Jesse was right in saying that we needed to get the Pollack in as quarterback, because as soon as the Raiders put Gradkowski in, we actually started looking like a good football team! LOL Granted, it was only against the Lambs, but still, in the NFL, a win is a win, so we'll take it. Next weeks game against Arizona will be interesting, to say the least. Does Gradkowski start? Is the Campbell era over? We will see.

There's a gig with Life's Torment @ the Divebar happening tonight, for those of you who don't care about tonight's Monday Night Football match-up between New Orleans and San Francisco. The Queers are playing @ the Divebar in November. It will take me at least that long to work up the nerve to drag my ass down there... heh heh heh

Yeah Yeah... it's at the Divebar... I know, I know...
There's a house party happening on Wednesday with The State Streets, Away We Go and Start, 2 bands I know nothing about. The State Streets are a Local band creating quite a buzz with their English working class Oi! musical styling. Keep an eye out for these guys (and one girl) and check them out when you can. You can check out the band's Myspace page by clicking here.

Everything's updated. Nothing new has been added, but soon will be. I have 2 out of 4 KISS cups from 7-11, so if you see a Peter or an Ace cup, please let me know where, and I'll swoop them up with the quickness. I don't know what it's all about, I assume it's some sort of tie in with Dr. Pepper, but I love those KISS cups from 7-11. Yeah, I know. Ghey. ;-)
