Funny, there was less Rock In Rio bullshit clogging up my Facebook feed this past weekend than there was last weekend, which just tells me that my friends are not a bunch of 13 year old girls, and that the 2nd installment was geared towards clueless people lacking any taste in Music whatsoever. The 2nd installment did just as bad as the 1st, but they're not gonna tell you that. Inflated attendance numbers and shoddy performances guarantee that this farce is going to be force fed down your throats until you choke on it, whether you like it or not, just like that other musical fest farce that's coming up soon.
Man, as far as money raising benefits go, Las Vegas definitely gets the short end of the stick. Here, we get house parties with the address given out an hour beforehand, and in the Bay area they get Green Day making a triumphant return to 924 Gilman St., a place I was lucky enough to see them play at a few times. Why do I live here in Las Vegas again? Anyone??
Everything is updated. New look for the website but who cares, since nobody ever reads this thing anyways, right? I posted a few Pictures of the bands The Civilians played with @ the Time Out Lounge in Arizona a while back, a Rockabilly band called Buried in Red, and a crazy rocking drunk Punk band called We Might Be Wasted, and you can click here to see the pictures of Buried In Red, and you can click here to check out the pics of We Might Be Wasted. I got all sorts of stuff ready to be added to the website... I'm lagging I know.
