And onto the Pulsar Is Dead thing. Well, what seems like a good idea at 4 in the morning kind of turned out to be not so amusing in the light of the waking day. I read what Hank wrote on Facebook, posting something about Pulsar being dead, knew it was a joke, and left it as such. I think the giveaway that it was a joke was the announcement that Hank Musgrove & The Mother Fucking Maniacs would play Pulsars funeral. LOL A few minutes later Pitt got involved and played along with the joke, commenting on Pulsar's supposed death, updating his status on Facebook with "Pulsar R.I.P.", and so did I. Seemed funny to us, but apparently, it wasn't. People just started blindly commenting on Pulsar dying without verifying a thing, taking what was posted blindly on Facebook as fact, and that was kind of scary to watch. The rumor of Pulsar's death spread like wildfire all over Facebook, with some people getting that it was an obvious drunken joke kind of thing, and others sending their condolences to Pulsar's Mom, who didn't find it the least bit funny. Go figure. And then Hank took a vicious beating, both Publicly and Privately, with people calling him a dumbass and chastising him for perpetrating such a cruel, unfunny joke. Shame on him! LOL Like I said, it seemed like a good idea at the time, but apparently we 3 were the only ones who saw it that way. Anyways, it was weird that people were so quick to believe a silly rumor, and a scary reminder of the power of Facebook where everybody gets their news from nowadays.
Today is Cinco de Mayo, which, just like St. Patrick's Day, is a Holiday were everybody becomes a Nationality they are not and people get super obnoxiously drunk. I plan on being one of those people tonight @ Vamp'd for the D.R.I. show. It should be fun! See ya there.
