I don't even know where to begin, so I'm just gonna ramble like a baboon on speed and let things go. Sorry if it offends anyone... LOL Yeah, whatever. Hey, I had a blast in CO. Playing that skate park benefit in Silt on Sat. was friggin' awesome! Ran into Alex The Traveler while there, a Vegas kid who is friends with Sammy and used to hang out at the gigs back in the days @ Eastside Joe's and Yayo and all that shit. He's grown up a bit now and doing good and all that. It was cool catching up with him. And man, everybody is sure nice in CO. No attitudes, friendly, easy going, it was definitely a trip to deal with, to say the least! But yeah, we got the full on Rock Star treatment, with fully loaded rooms at the Holiday Inn, where all the bands were staying, and there was lots of room hopping, booze drinking and drug doings going on all weekend there. The guys were super nice people but man, did their bands suck ass! LOL Reno Divorce were total Social Distortion clones, and The Black Pacific were just sad, with their drunken guitar player ruining their entire set, and them playing like a zillion covers from bands as diverse as the Rolling Stones to Black Flag to David Bowie to Pegboy didn't help out either. The Black Pacific sounded like Pennywise to me, and they had a tee shirt for sale that was a total rip off of the Unknown Pleasures album by Joy Division, so yeah, I wasn't impressed. Another band I wasn't impressed with was these ass spelunking dooshbags called Red Tide Rising, who were the biggest fucking jokes I've seen in a long, long time. Imagine a bunch of scene kids with broomsticks rammed far up their asses and lacking any originality or musical talent whatsoever, and you'd have a slight idea of what Red Tide Rising are all about. Just. Fucking. Horrible. They had boxes on stage that they would stand on and do choreographed cockstar moves on them to the delight of no one who was there to see them. There's a band here in town that does the same thing and looks just as stupid when they do. I don't get it, but whatever. Every band that played had people in front of them watching them play, every band except for these jackoffs in Red Tide Rising. Whatever. Even the opening band, Arch Angel, had a mob of people watching them play as they massacred songs by Metallica, Pantera, Megadeth and Primus, if you can believe that. Too Many Puppies never sounded worse. LOL They were a bunch of high school kids so it was kind of cute to watch for a little bit. Yeah, the gig on Sat. was cool. The after party at Deidra's was off the hook. I also saw a White Water Raptor by the Colorado river that night. ;-)
We had the Sun. afternoon off and spent it doing the unusual tourist thing of just driving around looking stupid, when we stumbled upon Glenwood Springs, where my Hero Doc Holliday is supposedly buried. We found the place after a bit of a search (it's in a rich neighborhood at the base of the Williams Fork Mountains) and trekked a half a mile up this steep ass hill to get to the cemetery where the Legendary Gunfighter is resting somewhere. We payed our respects to the Man and I threw up near the grave marker. It seemed appropriate. ;-) We spent the rest of the afternoon @ Doc Holliday's Saloon, where we ate and drank and gambled like the tourists we are. We had to drag ourselves away from the place, but a few hours later in Denver, all was forgotten. The place we played that night, called the Lion's Lair, was a total Punk Rock dive bar, where the bartender Michelle was an old Vegas person who just got us hammered all night long gratis of all charges. Thank you ever so much dear! XOXO The bands we played with, Salt and Murder Hat, were exceptional, with Salt mining a heavy Grunge vibe and Murder Hat just killing it by playing everything from Thrash to Ska, and whatever they wanted to in between. Both bands annihilated the place, and it was fun playing the gig with them. You can go to Salt's Facebook page by clicking here, and you can go to Murder Hat's Facebook page by clicking here. They're both great bands full of super nice guys. Look forward to seeing them play here in Vegas sometime soon (I hope). The drive home on Monday was sweet, taking our time and hitting up some scenic viewpoints along the way. We saw the Oscar Meyer weinermobile. I spent way too much money in Utah's Beaver. The Comedy channels on satellite radio made the time go by much quicker. It was a great weekend with some good friends, full of fun times and lots and lots of shenanigans. Lots of Pictures to come. Notice how I didn't mention the band I played the gigs with. Pretty cool, right? It's something I feel I have to do now because I don't wanna hear the BS that goes when one decides to exercise their right to air an opinion in public. Although the hubbub has died down majorly, I'm still getting emails from bitter ex-girlfriends and band mates who think they're slick and cool and anonymous. Think again people. You're fooling no one, and your antics aren't cute. You're not that slick. Seriously. I've got a busy week ahead of me, that's for sure. Lots of photos to edit and Gig info to add the the website. Anyone remember Punk Rock Bowling? The gig at the Aruba Hotel? Uh huh, me either. Yeah, I added the photos of D.I., Kids On Fire and Guilty by Association to the website, and you can click here for the D.I. photos, and here for the Kids On Fire pix, and here for the Guilty By Association photos. Thanks to Skateboard Bob for taking the GBA pictures. Everything is sort of updated. I got to get my ass to work.

I think the website is going to have to come with a disclaimer, so that any future band mates of mine can be given fair warning about what I do and what I'm about, and so they can save face when it comes to public scrutiny or kowtowing to the Punk Rock powers that be... heh W A R N I N G The Assessments and Viewpoints of www.onethirtyeight.org are the expressed written opinions of GE 138, and do NOT in any way, shape or form, express, share or even agree to the same sentiments with any past, present or future band members that GE 138 may find himself involved with at any given time. Any misconstruement of any and all postulations presented by GE 138 that are found on this website is utterly laughable and a sign of mental underdevelopment and micro penisism. Yeah, my so called Friends and Band Mates have a very interesting slant on things, that's for sure. Apparently, saving face with the PRB Gods that Be and being able to partake and be fleeced in next years gathering of the Sheep is more important to them than I realized, so I did them the favor of quitting every and all bands associated with them. Now they can play PRB and have their precious Bowling teams without worry of being blacklisted because of their association with me. Do you hear that jackass fans of the PRB Facebook page? You won! Yaaaaayyy! Now go back to your PC dick sucking and find something else to bully people about. Believe me, I've got better things to do and I definitely don't need this shit, especially from people I'm in a band with. My critique of anything and everything associated with PRB next year is going to be 10 times worse than it was this year, so I did them the favor and cut myself out of their musical careers, cut myself out like a cancer. Now they can frolic guilt free with others of their ilk and be Proud and Happy to be a part of the Herd. Baaaaaaaaaaaaaa. So yeah, I'm only down to being in 2 bands now - anyone need a non-PC, racist homophobic punk rock drummer with a very unpopular opinion? :-) There's this Punk Rock gig happening tomorrow night at Yayo Taco with Punk Rock bands who aren't concerned about being blacklisted by the Stern Bros. in CA. or with being able to play PRB next year or with even being able to pay the $500 entrance fee to bowl next year, bands that I've never seen play before, bands with names like Heartless, Dead In The Dirt and Gods Rape..., so I'm gonna head down there and check them out because that's what I do. I'm compelled to do so. I prefer seeing bands in small intimate venues like this because if and when they finally make it big and are playing the big festivals like PRB in front of hundreds, maybe even thousands of Punk Rock Sheep, that I can loudly and proudly proclaim how I saw them way back then and how they were better then than they are now, and I can take my rightful place on the outside of everything and throw rocks at those sheep on the inside of the pen. Didn't we learn anything from the cover of Minor Threat's second LP? Out Of Step - with the world. :-) I did! That's me. I not only heard the Music and the Message, but I listened as well. OK. I've gotta get ready for band practice with a band that doesn't have a problem with anything I say or do, a band called American Buckshot that believes in Freedom of Speech and the 1st Amendment and all it stands for. I'm gonna post our Demo we recorded back in 2010 (I think) on the Tunes page this week so you can all get hyped on what we're gonna be playing. We're coming back stronger than ever. :-) Oh, and the discussion between the 2 members of Public Humiliation on their entry I put up was priceless. I'm not sure if they were serious about it, but it sure was funny! hee hee hee Yeah, my website affects people in the strangest ways. Who knew one guys opinion held such merit? Certainly not me! Fools! LOL Hey! Is it safe to come out yet? LOL
Yeah right. Contrary to popular belief, I was not 'hiding out' this weekend. No, more like I was having fun, playing Star Wars video games in my Mother's basement and enjoying some time off from my hectic band practice schedule, dealing with real life Drama that was laughable, visiting with Friends from out of state, and having a go at listening to everyone's interpretation of the whole PRB thing and why I was either right or wrong about it all. I'm glad that some people got it, and disappointed that others didn't. Oh well. It was interesting how it went from a gay thing to a Punk Rock thing, but whatever. It's over, it's done, it was fun while it lasted. And to any of you who believed all that shit, or to those of you who forsook me in my hour of attack, shame on you. You don't have to apologize for me for anything I say. If anyone wanted an apology from me they can ask me themselves and we'll go from there. I don't need you speaking for me, especially to save your precious position in the PRB community. Who gives a fuck about them. Fucking Tossers and Cowards the whole lot of them. They couldn't get to me so they went after the bands I play with. Pathetic, but I'd expect nothing less from the Sheep and Tools that frequent PRB. Baaaaaaaaa. Baaaaaaaaaaa. I got a busy week ahead of me. Going to Colorado this weekend to play some gigs with Guilty By Association, one with The Black Pacific who, I could give a shit less about it, but the other guys are hyped about it, so I'm hyped for them being hyped, or something like that. Every band I'm in has upcoming gigs in the next few weeks, but I don't know what they are, nor do I really care. All I need is a date and a time and a place and I'm there. All I care about right now is having fun this Summer with my Friends, spreading my Love for Hate and Rape Rock and Homophobia everywhere I go, because apparently, that's how I roll. ;-) Everything is updated. There's a Birthday party for Benny tonight @ the Double Down with The Bitters and The Fat Dukes Of Fuck playing, so that should be pretty cool. I added some Pictures I took of D.I. a few days ago, and you can click here to check those out. I've also re-added all the Pictures from 2011 to the website, which I'm sure no one else but myself could give a flying fuck about, but I do it anyways. Why, you ask? Well, I do it because I'm compelled, just like it says near the top of this page, right underneath the name. No better reason than that, right? Right! The Official Theme of the Summer is Bohemian. There will be Road Trips galore. The Official Snack of this Summer are Macaroons. The Wand has been passed on and the Responsibility has been Accepted. It's a big Wand too, lemme tell ya! LOL All Grub will be BBQ'd. All Beverages shall be Chilled. :-) All are Welcome, but no one will come back the same. Hey! There's this fantastic gig happening tomorrow night @ the Double Clown, and if it was anywhere else I'd be there. All the Bands playing are top notch. The People's Whiskey gave me a little teaser from their upcoming release, and it's good. Really good. Should be a fun gig - Check it out if you're not doing anything else this Sat. night. Oh, I.D.F.I. and Agent 86 are playing the Bunkhouse that night too. If you're in the Downtown area you should check that gig out. Another gig you should check out happens on Sun., with the Seriouslys and the Naked City Romeos playing at Vince Neil's Girls Girls Girls strip club, and you can bet your ass that I'm gonna be there front and center! I have to be there to assert my masculinity because apparently, I'm a Homophobic Bitter Poseur! LOL Yeah, the Irony of someone from PRB calling me a Poseur is laughable. And Bitter? Well, I guess you've never talked to Shawn Stern when he's all drunk and stupid at 4 in the morning! LOL And Homophobic? Me? ha ha ha Now that is fucking laughable. I got 2 words for you Stern Bros. - That's It!. Remember that shitty band? I do. Oh wait, here's another 3 funny words for you - Royal Crown Revue. How funny was it to see the Stern Bros. dress up and pose like some Pachuco's from the 1940's? I know me and my Punk Friends had a laugh about it, and I know they wouldn't be walking around dressed up like that in some of the East L.A. neighborhoods I grew up in! Oh, and here's the real Pièce de résistance - The Brigade. Now that shit was funny! Electronic drums? Keyboards? Really? Fuck off with that shit. You ever hear the songs Youth Brigade recorded for the album The Dividing Line? YouTube that shit and give it a listen. It's laughable. And you guys are calling me a Poseur? Pathetic. All 3 of these bands were the Stern Bros. money grubbing attempt at cashing in when Punk wasn't the cool thing it is now, and they gave numerous interviews at the time as to how they had 'grown up' and weren't playing that 'little kid music' anymore. But oh wait, when Punk rock starts to make a comeback, guess who's there to jump on the bandwagon and loudly proclaim that they were the most Punk rock band in the world and never gave up on the Scene or the Music? Yeah, that was the Stern Bros. and Youth Brigade. And the Punk Rock Sheep could care less, but that's not the point. The point is some of us have been Punk for a really long time, refusing to give up on our Ideals or Beliefs or to cater to the crowd and play New Wave, Pop Punk, Swing, whatever, and then there's the Stern Bros., who do whatever they can to make money, because let's face it - those college educations in Art and Philosophy don't pay for themselves ya know! LOL Yeah, I can go on all day with this, but there's really no point, and I got better things to do. The comments posted on the PRB Facebook page are laughable (click here to read them all) and I can only hope and dream that some of the shit talkers on there actually follow through with their physical threats towards me. Unfortunately, they never do, which is the Magic of the Internet. Everyone is a bad ass when not within reach... heh heh The comments on the original post have been funny too (click here to read those) but at least I had a few people who agreed on a few things I mentioned about PRB. Some people get it, and some people don't. The bleating of the PC Punk Sheep is like Music to my ears. Fucking Tools. Everything is updated. See you at the Gigs.
