All praise The Loud Pipes !!! Last night we finished mixing the demo, and it was dropped off to be mastered as soon as we were done with it. We celebrated the fact by drinking ourselves silly, first at Mulligan's, then back at the Club House, where Jesse had to put up with all of us going, Could that be better? Can we change the way that sounds? Heh heh heh But he got through it just fine... the demo sounds GREAT... and I can't wait for you all to hear it. With this recording, we're gonna take over the world Pinky ! Woo Hoo ! Oh yeah... Jupiter Shifter Show Review can be found here, and I posted some Pictures of the gig as well right here. And the Street Team Meeting isn't happening until the Captain returns from his trip to New York... hopefully he makes it back from C.B.G.B.'s in one piece ! hahahahaha and oh yeah... HANK RULES !!!

YES ! I do believe that we're coming even closer to getting this recording released. It's scheduled to be in your grubby lil' paws sometime around Valentine's Day, if not sooner, and it would make a great gift for someone that you care about. Hell, it makes for good background music to fuck by... all that Loud Pipes noise will cover up your grunts and groans as you have sex! Hahahaha Social Distortion was lots of fun on Tuesday... you can see the Pictures here, and you can read about it here. Major thanks to The Missing 23rd for inviting us to the gig...we should get together and play a show soon. Oh yeah, the Yaphet Kotto Show Review is up here, and I posted some pictures of The Plot To Blow Up The Eiffel Tower on a new Balcony Lights Photo page, which can be ogled at here. I was gonna go to the opening of Sultan's Table, the new all ages place here in town, but I was told by a few people that this Emo show happening there was gonna be lame, so I stayed home and watched The Chappelle Show instead, which was sooo fucking funny... The Niggar Family... lol. Anyways, there's lots going on this weekend... it's only 9 more days until our show with Knife Fight & Street Trash, and I can only hope that this good show is as packed with kids as that lame Yaphet Kotto show was. One can only dream...
Fucking ten million things going on at once, so let me just spit some thoughts at you as they come to me, OK? The Agent Orange - D.I. Show Review is up... click here to read that. Some more Pictures of both bands, as well as some pix of Anti-Flag are posted on this page here. The Loud Pipes have a plan to FINALLY finish the recording session and to at least have an official demo available to you all for our upcoming shows with By Death's Design in Arizona and the Supersuckers show at the Boston and the Sub/Hum/Ans show at the Huntridge, which nobody in charge over there seems to know anything about. But the show is listed on the Sub/Hum/Ans web site, so I guess it's a go. It's been days later and I still can't believe how terribly boring that Yaphet Kotto show was at Balcony Lights... you Airbag kids need to re-define the terms "amazing live band" and "mind blowing show"... heh heh heh. The Loud Pipes Club House is officially closing real soon... and I'm not quite sure why, but oh well. We're all going to some invite-only show tonight with Social Distortion and The Missing 23rd @ The Beach, and I know that it's gonna be FUN! Chicks in bikinis! Woo Hoo!
Couple of quick things to update ya on... the Review of the Infestshit / Heart Attacks show @ Balcony Lights is up... click right here to read all about it. I think Hank's new band sounds great, and I hope they start to gig on a regular basis. I posted some more Pictures of both bands on a new Local Band Pictures page, and you can click right here to see them. Roxie & Jesse have been working hard at their new job, so The Loud Pipes haven't been practicing as a whole unit as of late, but at least me and Pitt and Tony have the new songs down, although I doubt that we'll be playing them at any of our upcoming gigs, but who knows? Those of you who have been hanging out at The Club House know what they sound like... spread the word mother fuckers! There's gonna be a meeting of the Street Team pretty soon, so keep your eyes and ears peeled for that. I'm sick of answering questions about the EP... apparently everyone's tracks are done, but I don't know the reason why the shit hasn't come out yet. And that's all I have to say about that.
Wowser! Was the show at Doggystyle the other night some major bullshit or what? Not only was it overkill by the Police, but the damn "revolutionary" punk kids that were antagonizing the situation were just as much to blame. To hear these dumb asses chanting What do we want? Revolution! When do we want it? NOW! ... I mean give me a friggin' break. The utter stupidity displayed by these so called "scene kids" was both laughable and irritating. People that got arrested deserved it, and I can only hope that Doggystyle can remain open and continue to give the all ages scene here in Las Vegas the support it needs. And I never even got a hot dog from there, dammit! lol Anyways, I gave it a write up... you can read it here, and The Loud Pipes Minister Of Propaganda issued a GREAT press release to all the papers... click here to read it for yourself. I've also added some cool pictures to the Bands Picture Page (Of Faith And Fire, Jesus Fuck The Sun and The Black Jetts), since I saw some of the members of those bands at the show on Saturday. You can click here to see those. Keep your eye out for a story that Jarrett Keene is doing on The Loud Pipes in City Life sometime soon, and I still have no idea what is going on with our upcoming release, you'll have to ask the others in the band about that. More Reviews... more Idle Gossip... more Pictures... that's what onethirtyeight.org is all about!
OK... a few things worth mentioning are the upcoming shows... one this Saturday @ Doggystyle with The Shaws / Jr. Anti-Sex League / Chemical Ex, which Tony tells me is some all girl band that reminded him of Depeche Mode, so it should be an interesting night. Our other big gig is on MY birthday weekend, and if you didn't see the flyer for our show with Knife Fight and Street Trash @ Balcony Lights on the way in here, well then you need to lay off the crack pipe, buddy! As far as I know, our show with the Supersuckers is still at the Boston, and I have no idea what's up with the Sub/Hum/Ans show @ The Huntridge, but it should be FUN! I posted a few more Reviews... and some more Pictures to my never ending collage... updated the Gigs Listing... and that's about it. Oh yeah... anyone interested in being put on my mailing list, please send me an E-mail to [email protected] with all your information, and I'll add you to my semi-regular mailings... which will be sent out just to let you know what's going on here in onethirtyeight land, and as well as keeping you updated on The Loud Pipes and all the shit that we do. Hope to see you all at the show on Saturday!!!
