Belated Merry Christmas everyone! Did you get everything that you wanted? Yeah, me either. Did you get what you deserved? Probably not. ;-) I spent my Holidaze in a pool of Mexican food and Chinese takeaway, festively full of Christmas cheer and booze, which was a pretty sweet way to spend the time. Hope you had just as much fun as I did, but I seriously doubt that you did. ;-) ![]() It wasn't like I just sat around getting high and eating tamales, ya know? I would occasionally sit at my computer desk and think about working on website stuff before going to efukt.com to see if they've trolled anymore wannabe porn stars. I edited the photos I took of Naked Aggression @ the Redwood Bar when I was in L.A. last, and you can click here to check them out. Considering I was drunk as fuck and don't remember taking any of these pictures, I'd say they came out pretty good! ha ha ha I also found some old photos I took on a Vegascendents weekend with 2 bands from AZ. called Common Tongue and Skull Drug, and the photos I took of Skull Drug playing at the Dive can be seen by clicking here. Better late than never, right? ;-) Congratulations to Jesse and Roxie on the birth of their beautiful baby girl Lola. Both Mother and Daughter are doing just fine. How do I know that? Because Roxie is already on Instagram letting the world know all about it! LOL
Everything is updated. There ain't jack shit going on tonight, but tomorrow night's a whole different story. Besides the amazing Aggrolites gig going down at Backstage Bar & Billiards, and the kick assness of Self Abuse and Fuck Shit Piss going on @ the Double Clown, there's also the puppet show wizardry of Green Jelly happening @ The Dive, with the always incredible Mapes and the amazeballzness of The Fat Dukes Of Fuck. That's where I'm gonna be on Sat. Yup. See ya there!

I hate Thieves. Nothing worse than one. Maybe a child molester, but that's about it. I hope everything you Love and care about gets killed in the most horrible way possible. See you in Hell. I'll be the one pouring red hot lava into your ass and laughing... ![]() I learned lots of fun and interesting facts playing drums with Guilty By Association this weekend. I learned that Cockazulu is real, and I learned that Craig knows of a cock fighting chicken who's never lost a fight, and is now retired as an undefeated champion on a farm somewhere in Mexico. Seriously. I learned all about the Cockness Monster, and I learned that you can buy a Cockie Monster to keep your dick warm. Yeah, it was a guys only, fart and dick jokes kind of weekend, and damn if it wasn't a whole lotta fun. :-) The gig @ the Redwood Bar with the White Kaps and Naked Aggression was great. Both bands fucking killed it. Don't ask me how the night ended because I don't remember. Thanks to Senor Preston and Monsieur Herb for drinking me blind. After spending the next day watching football and hanging out at the beach in HB, we played the Tiki Bar with Death By Stereo and El Nada, and some Metal Thrash Punk group who's name I didn't catch, who's Drummer was nice enough to let me use his sticks, because I lost my stick bag full of mine somewhere in downtown L.A. the day before. The funny thing is, the drummer from El Nada asked to borrow some sticks from me, because he left his stick bag at the practice spot. hahaha Oh Drummers, we're so silly. This place had a taco bar on the back patio, run by this amazing woman right here, so I was in a taco coma by the end of the evening. Tocino pollo tacos... are you fucking kidding me??? <3 I was having too much fun. Don't remember how that night ended as well, come to think of it... hahaha Thanks to the super nice guys in DBS and El Nada for the fun times and happy things they gave and shared with us. It was definitely one for the record books. The drive home was an amplified but slow, weed burning, extra cheese loving type of thing, and once we got back into town everyone went their separate ways to deal with their separate work related problems. ;-) Thanks to all the guys in GBA and to Smokey for being the righteous drum tech and taco brother that he is, and to Dee to taking care of the merch and being the cool guy he is too. St. Louis Rams in the Superbowl in 2 years. He said it, not me. I'd love to say that I came Home and passed out for 18 hours straight, but I didn't, because I had to head to da Hump, Camel Hump Studios, to record some tracks for the Civilians to be used to put out as a future 7" and for the upcoming Desert Rats With Baseball Bats 2 compilation being put together as we speak. Should be interesting, based on the bands I already know are going to be on there. Anyways, everything's updated. Enjoy. I gotta go take an assessment of everything that I'm now missing... bastards.
I think I'm done with football season... hahaha Oh Raiders, why does thou forsake me every single fucking year. :-(
Everything's updated. I posted the few Pictures of the $wingin' Utter$ that I took last week @ the Beauty Bar, and you can click here to check them out. I was too busy having fun to take a lot of pix, but the ones I did take came out pretty good. Mike GBA wanted me to tell you all about the gig tonight @ the Dive with this band called Get Dead, a band he's Friends with and trying to get people to go to their gig. I'd go there to see the Seriouslys myself, and maybe the Pluralses, because I haven't seen 'em yet, I dunno, but if you got the itch to check out some bands on a Monday night, the Dive is the place to be. Have fun if ya go! :-)
OK, first off, can we catch this scumbag that ripped off MDV Entertainment yesterday? I mean seriously... and a Christian too! Fucking dumb ass... Man, did I wake up to nothing but Drama this morning - all of it female oriented! It's almost enough to make a man take to drinking, but the afterglow from the $wingin' Utter$ gig from a few days ago is still carrying me through. :-) I heard nothing but amazing things about that house party gig with See You In Hell last night. Was Joie Pena really there? LOL If she was then I really feel bad for not making the gig...
hahahaha This has got to be one of the best ever conversations I've ever been a part of in my entire Life, and it went down last night at the $wingin' Utter$ gig @ the Beauty Bar. It went something like this: Hey Gilbert! What's up? How have you been? It's good to see you! It's good to see you too! How have you been? What's going on? Everybody here is talking about you. Everywhere I go I hear your name being thrown around. Oh yeah? LOL What are they saying? Everybody here hates you. They're all talking shit about you, and I don't know why... hahahahahahahahahahaha Seriously, that shit just made my year. You would think people would have something better to do, but apparently not. Apparently, the fucking amazing set from the $wingin' Utter$ couldn't keep a bunch of people I couldn't give 2 shits about from saying bad things about me, people that I spend about zero to none of an amount of time on being concerned with what they're doing, who they're with, or what they're up to, just standing around saying things... things they wouldn't dare say to me in person, of course, but on the Internet? Behind my back to my Friends? Oh sure. And all this gossip and mud slinging was going on while the $wingin' Utter$ were raging full on in the background. And all that, is fucking priceless. Nice to know I'm such a force to be reckoned with in this town... LOL ![]() Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh... the $wingin' Utter$ - gawd how I love this band! They were soooooooooo fucking good! Way better than the last time I saw them @ the Bunkhouse a while back. It was the last day of their Tour and they sounded great because of it. Playing fast and tight, jumping around and looking like they were having a lot of fun, the band put on quite a display of musicianship, playing an amazing set of tunes that pretty much covered every aspect of their legendary career, from their first year of existence 1992 (Scared) all the way to something off of their latest album, Poorly Formed, which came out earlier this year (The Librarians Are Hiding Something), the $wingin' Utter$ performance was beyond top notch. I don't know why they can't draw more than a handful of people when they play here in town, because it seems that everybody I know claims to be a $wingin' Utter$ fan, but I never see them at the gigs when the band comes to town. Whatever. Yeah, the turnout for the gig yesterday was piss poor. Gotta love Vegas, right? LOL The Civilians opened up - why, I don't know? We played pretty good, and I was throwing up the entire set. Trueland gave me an introduction of sorts during one song, and I flipped off the crowd the entire time he did it. Somebody shouted out 'Fuck You Gilbert!', which was exactly the response I was looking for - Thanx whoever you were! ;-) Despite playing first, while people were walking in, they seemed to really dig us, and that was rad. Vegascendents played right afterwords and after going outside and finishing up puking, I went back inside and I think played a good set. It was Paolo's first hometown gig with the Vegascendents, and I think he did good, although, as usual, I can never hear anything back behind the kit. I heard lots of applause after each song though, so that's a good thing - right? LOL I didn't stick around to see Spotted Dick, because I was feeling sick again and stumbled off with Anne and Bob to the El Cortez for some grub, and by the time we got back the $wingin' Utter$ were just beginning. I saw N.J. Pete and Cassie sitting at the bar, and Pete told me they were on their 2nd song, London Drunk, so I didn't miss much. They sounded great. Brand New Lungs, As You Start Leaving, Pills & Smoke, 5 Lessons Learned, which was started out waaaaaaaaayyyy too fast, but was followed perfectly by Glad. I was swooning and singing along loud and proud! :-) It was such a fun gig to be at. Thanks to everyone for hanging out with me, and talking bad about me to my Friends - you knew they were going to tell me every single word you said, right? hahahaha Fucking 'tards. The $wingin' Utter$ ruled! Sucks to be you if you missed it! ![]() I really do owe these guys in Crazy Chief a word of apology for being so late in bringing this to everyone's attention, but I gave their debut release, a 7" piece of black vinyl called Angel Dust, a review a while back, and I've just been so busy and forgetful that it slipped my mind about posting it up. Sorry guys (and girl). Anyways, you can click here to read all about it. It's very, "Bakla-ish"... hahaha Everything's updated. I, of course, have to get ready for band practice. Why? I don't know anymore... hahaha There's a sick ass house party going down tomorrow on the East side of town featuring See You In Hell, a band from the Czech Republic, fer Christ's sake - don't miss out on this shit! It's gonna be a rager! I'd go but, of course, I can't, because I have band practice. Booooooooo...
