It's the next day and I'm still shocked. Skorchamenza opening up for the Buzzcocks? Don't promoters here in town have a clue? Sometimes your friends band is NOT the best choice to open a show. It seems like every time I've seen the Buzzcocks in the last 10 years they've had some bland, boring, kiss ass band opening up for them. Glad to know the tradition continues... heh heh heh Fucking F.F.I. called it quits this weekend and that's soooooo messed up. A huge blow to our precious Music Scene here in town, and they will definitely be missed. The last time I saw them @ The Art Bar they were phenomenal and that drummer of theirs... wowsers. Jesse, that's the drummer you're looking for, not me. Anyways, I'm perfectly happy with my Band (wink wink), I'm not moving anywhere anytime soon (sorry Shane), Ben from Face First Records just announced some killer show @ The Cooler Lounge featuring Battalion Of Saints / Butt Trumpet / Circle One / Affrontal Assault and Last Rites, with all bands featuring at least 1 original member! Woo Hoo! My beloved San Jose Sharks are about to knock Hollywood Shane's Nashville Pussy's straight out of the Quest for the Cup, and I can't find a thing to worry about. Everything is fine, and that's just about the time that something goes wrong again...and again...and again...and again again something goes wrong again. I'll give a dollar to whomever can tell me what band sings that line I just quoted. I'll bet you another dollar that no one in Skorchamenza can... hee hee hee.

Since April is almost over, I thought I better throw up that page full of Music Reviews before they carried over into the next month, so check out April's Music Reviews on the latest from bands like Night Divides The Day (now called Eve Of Extinction), The Braineaters (who you don't wanna miss when they play on 06/06/06), The Irish Brothers, The Rocketz (hello Tony, call me you Bastard), Urchin (local baseball bat All Stars), Topper (Clash worshipers) NOFX and Revenge And Regret (R.I.P.) Click here to read all of them. And a Special Message to "Her", if you don't like the way I am, get the fuck on with your smelly ass. This is what I be, and this is how I roll. Music first, everything else second. Go back to the "real" people in your Art Fag Scene in L.A. and see what they do to you. Didn't you move here to get away from that shit? Thought so. See you around because, like most people who move away from Las Vegas, you'll be back. Chicks. Phooey. I wish I knew how to quit you... hee hee hee.
Lots to say so here goes. Apparently, at the last Suite 666 gig @ The Cooler Lounge, some soul-less monster with no heart stole the punk rock monkey mascot of The Quitters right off of the drum set in the middle of the gig and the band would like him back very much. The kidnappers have made a Myspace page listing their demands, and you can go here to keep abreast on all things simian. hee hee hee Yesterday was the Anniversary of Our Lord And Savior El Duce's passing, and I had a good laugh remembering some of the shit we went through. Good times man, good times. Speaking of good times, the first leg of the Suite 666 Drunken Debauchery Tour 2006 with Infestshit is set up, so look out UT., CO., TX., NM., AZ. and CA. because we're coming for YOU! Lots of new Pictures to look at... 1/2 Ast...The Flametrick Subs...Catharsis...The Quitters...as well as some old photos I've found laying around of The Loud Pipes in action many many moons ago @ Trash City Records. One of George's buddies posted a web blog of the 1/2 Ast / Suite 666 show @ The Bunkhouse last week, and in case you missed it you can click here to check it out. I'm slowly but surely adding all sorts of old stuff back up on the website, like old Show Reviews, so check things out and you never know what you'll find. I hear you can download new music from here somewhere...Happy 420 to all the HEADS!!!
I have no idea of what's going on, and at this point I almost don't even care. Things being the way they are right now, I'm almost prone to just skip away and not look back. But that's no fun, right? hee hee hee Yeah, this weekend's shenanigans were a bit rough on me personally, but looking back on it all it was all worth it. Catharsis are some pretty nice people and it was fun hanging out with them and being silly. The Roadrunner T-Shirt that smelled like gravy? Priceless. Our show Friday with 1/2 Ast was about as much fun as I figured it was going to be, with the highlight (for me) being when Joe and Tad from the Peccadilloes went flying into my drum set, or maybe when Joe and the promoter (I think) "went outside for a talk". Just fun stuff and a great set from those guys. As usual. They had me doing the gay robot, and that's all I'm gonna say. Saturday Suite 666 got filmed for some cable access punk rock television show, and as soon as I find out more about it I'll be sure to let you all know. I'm dying to see the footage, especially the Interview afterwords... ha ha ha. Tell us not do to something and it's the first thing we'll do. Ask the promoter from Jillian's about that. So uhm, yeah, more to come, as soon as I figure out how to update my website properly. And by the way, we're playing with Vice Squad come October. Brian Infestshit sez so. ;-)
Boredom brings change, and having all this time off with nothing to do but watch Marx Bros. movies, play Zelda on my Gamecube and watch Simpson's DVD's has inspired me to re-vamp my website. That and the fact that my computer crashed like 4 days ago. I lost everything. Videos. Pictures. MP3's. Artwork. Everything. So, there are a few changes made to the website. All Gig info will be posted on the Message Board. Ryan Chaos' photos of Suite 666 are posted. Lots more old stuff coming up. I encourage you to explore and see what you'll find. All Murder. All Guts. All Fun. Warts included. And I'm not sure why the chat room isn't working...or is it?
