The gigs filling in for Guilty By Association this week were fun!! I mean, besides blowing out my right knee playing at the Yucca Tap Room, and cracking an upper tooth while having breakfast at Harlow's the next morning, but other than that? Major fun! Down By Law were some really nice guys to pal around with, Punk Legends and all that, and their drummer Hunter and I bro'd down big time. Cool dude, and he loved my drum set, so he can't be all that bad, right? ha ha ha The guys in Guilty By Association are always a treat to hang around with, the drives weren't bad at all, basically Jason Ellis Show 24/7 and Janoff stopping to shit every hour or so, but the turnout for the gigs definitely could of been better - waaaay better. I mean, there was NOBODY there for the Triple B's gig, but I guarantee you that when Down By Law play one of the club shows for Punk Rock Posing (Oops! Did I say that?) the place will be packed with Locals all saying how great it is that Down By Law FINALLY is playing in Las Vegas. Finally!
Totally, totally weaksauce.
Whatever. Sometimes I hate Vegas, and this night was definitely one of them. Oh well. Me and my busted toofus and blown out knee are heading up to SF to check out the Adam Ant gig @The Fillmore. I need a vacation! ha ha ha So long Stinktown!!!
