For Christmas I bought myself a TASCAM DR-40, which is literally a 4 channel hand held recorder. I'm having the best time recording and mixing band practice sessions with it, and that's why the website stuff is slacking. Weak I know. I can't wait to get some live band recording s done with it. Now if only there were some good gigs coming up... ;-) I'm glad you all like the shirts. Wear them at your own risk.  I'm kidding about the good gigs thing. Actually there's a ton of them happening, like this Murder Junkies gig going down this Thurs. @ the Dive. They're playing with some band called Pottymouth and another band called Bargain Shark Steak, which I believe is a Local band, not sure, but if you got nothing better to do on Thurs. night, go hang out with GG Allin's brother and have him tell you some stories. He loves telling them... heh heh I would stop by but, of course, I have band practice that night, as I have been doing for the past 6 days straight. Wait, I think I got a day off there somewhere, but I'm not really sure. It's been taking a toll on me physically, but in the end it's all worth it... I think. Anyways, if you got nothing to do on a Thurs. night, go check out the Murder Junkies. Cool band.  Friday I'll be in Lake Havasu, AZ., playing at McKee's Pub & Grill, home base for many an Operation Hyena night, playing as part of the 'Vegas Invasion' hitting that dry, desert city, with Local band extraordinaires The Quitters and The People's Whiskey on the bill as well. To say that this gig is going to be fun beyond belief is an understatement. I haven't seen TPW in a bit, and I haven't seen the Quitters in an even longer span of time. Can't wait to play this gig. Coming back on Sat. though to catch that Pulley gig with all the killer bands like TheCore, War Called Home, and the Happy Campers all opening up. 2 killer Local gigs in a row - and in 2 different states as well? Color me HYPED!! hahaha And yeah, I know the White Kaps are playing with The Divebombers and The Odd Numbers @ the Dive, but I really don't think anyone's gonna be there, because unfortunately, everyone and their Mom is going to be at the Pulley show. I hope I'm wrong though. I'm gonna try to get there after the Pulley gig ends to hopefully catch the White Kaps. They're worth the effort. ;-)
