Soooooooooooooo... the Raiders are moving. Again. It's officially official. 31-1 vote by the Owners. Thank you Miami for being the only team not to support this farce. With each team guaranteed to get a minimum $50 million just for voting, this sets a bad, bad, precedent for every other team in the league. Attendance down? Threaten to move! Your team sucks? Blame it on playing in an "old" stadium and threaten to move. The price of votes is negotiable. Nobody wants to go to an "old" stadium - everyone likes to go to cool, hip, shiny new things, bragging about being one of the firsts to be there on social media - how else will you know how cool they are! DUH! Whatever. It's pretty hard to get hyped on a team that has burned me before. I loved those L.A. Raiders games. I saw grown ass men doing things to other grown ass men that they'll have to answer to their Creator for... ha ha ha And when they went back to Oakland, they swore they would never move again. Bullshit. On the one hand, I'm glad that Raiders games will be more accessible for me, but on the other hand I'm absolutely appalled and ashamed at the blatant Greed and Hypocrisy involved in the move. It's rich fat pigs feeding at the public trough, nothing more, nothing less. Disgusting. Almost a billion in Vegas money to make it happen... and yet the Owners and NFL reap the profits, not LV. Imagine what Las Vegas could have done with that money instead? Better schools, better roads, better way of Life, but no, shiny new stadium's are better for the City. Go Team Go! Reminds me of that scene in Casino when they talk about getting the Teamsters money to build the casino by any means necessary. Same shit different era. The bandwagon is going to be even more full of Poseurs now, and when the Raiders aren't doing good, and attendance is down, the Team will move again, because it's clearly apparent that they really don't give a fuck about their supporters or fans, nope! It's all about dat cheddar, and the fat rats get richer while the poor rats stay poorer and stupider. The City of Oakland is still paying off that tax thing they passed to get the Raiders to move back there in the first place, years later. Let's hope Las Vegas can pay off it's huge ass raping cash incentive a lot quicker than Oakland can. I'm not gonna lie... I'm a little bit shamed to be a Raiders fan today, and that's sad. Yaaay! Shiny big stadium! Go Raiders I guess... #disappointed.
