My vacation in California was incredible. I came back in time to celebrate the 4th with the Family @ Casa de Amoroso. The next day I was kidnapped and literally carried into a really nice RV and taken back to California, where a band I'm proud to be a member of, The Civilians, played a beyond epic set for the record executives of Crowd Control Media, who signed the band up right on the spot to one very interesting deal that covers all aspects that a band could want or need for. Very surreal, to say the least, and I'm happy to be a part of the Family. Here's the press release they put out announcing the CD release they're doing for us - look for that to come out in Sept. :-)
There's sooooooooo much stuff to do this week it isn't funny, including this gig tonight @ Hellpop! with the B-Lines, Punk Rock all the way from Vancouver BC, and The Loud Pipes, Punk Rock all the way from the nearest bar within distance of the venue. ;-) Should be a fun gig, and if you miss out on seeing TLP tonight, you can always catch us on Thurs. @ The Dive bar for the Vagos MC benefit gig, which, needless to say, will be very, very interesting... heh heh. Green Nation does a lot for the Community, so it's only right that we give a little back to show our support. Anyways, everything there is to do this week is on the Gig Calendar page, so check it out for everything else that's going on.
