Seeing Deadhand hanging out @ Favorites last Friday reminded me that I never posted the answer I got about the placement of the soda and candy in the band's latest video Places. Here's what they had to say about that: So.... the meaning of the candy and Sunkist is: Brendan loves Red Vines and was eating them during every phase of shooting and Sunkist was being consumed as well, so instead of having the "party" scenes littered w/ beer and drugs we all thought it would be funnier if those "losers" were partying w/ candy and soda. Plus, they are bright colors that go along w/ the Disney theme. Anyways, glad you like it and posted it on your site...Thanks! Love - Deadhand So there ya go! I had a more bizarre thought of the characters needing to get all amped up in order to interact with the kids, but I was wrong... heh heh Damn! I'm glad you're all checking out all the photos I took in San Francisco. They're the most popular pages this month. Like, waaayy popular! LOL I wish I would of had more time (and less drunken baggage) in that City. I'm definitely gonna have to go back sometime soon. Seriously. So I'm sitting 'round at home last Saturday afternoon, when I get a text message from Pulsar, who's band Ministry Of Love were playing the Extreme Thing with Anti-Flag and a bunch of other bands and whatnot that day. He asks me if I wanted another reason to not like the Objex, and I told him I didn't need another reason, but to let me have it, and here's what he said. Yeah, hard to believe, I know. And from such a good person too, I know. Such a shame. Tsk fucking Tsk. Does anyone besides me find that whole Objex thing funny as fuck? It's over, Johnny. It's over. I mean, they try soooooo hard to be relevant, even going as far as telling everyone that they got signed by some label or are gonna go on some big Tour opening up for some headlining band and whatnot, but seriously, shouldn't they just give it up, or is it just me that feels like that? LOL
Here's the flyer for the next Aluminum Falcon gig. It's happening this Friday at Cowtown Guitars. It's their Grand Re-Opening party, and First Friday as well, so get yer ass down there and help the Amoroso's celebrate the new location for Cowtown Guitars. It's gonna be sweet. And the cake... oh em GEE!!! <3 Yeah, it's also Jeremy, aka the Bass Master General, it's his last show with us, as he's moving on to bigger and better things in California. Yeah, don't even get me going on that... Booooooooooooo. :-(
