All I care about right now is anything Simpsons related and that's pretty much it. Oh, and tacos, of course. :-) And here's their ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, the trendy bastards. Yeah, until yesterday, all I did was sit in my chair directly in front of the TV and watch the Simpsons marathon non-stop. I fell asleep watching Simpsons, and woke up watching Simpsons. No showers, and I was living off of tacos being delivered 24-7. It was great. I thought I got the word out to all the bands I'm in that all band practices were to be cancelled until the marathon was over, but apparently, one band was like 'Fuck That!' and broke me away from my stinky state of bliss and had me shower up and get ready to head to Camel Hump Studios to record 3 more songs for our new record. Ugh! So Bob and I broke down the drum kit, packed it up, and sat around waiting for our ride... and waiting... and waiting. And nobody showed up to pick us up and take us to the studio to record. No text telling me what was going on, no phone call, nothing. Why? Because the guys in the Civilians are a bunch of dicks, that's why. Whatever. They're really proud of what they did last night, FINALLY finishing up some songs we recorded like a million years ago, and have been sharing these songs on Facebook like the attention starved whores that they are. The 2 songs, Side By Side, and Goodbye To Glasgow, are gonna be on the upcoming new release, so check them out and see what you think. Personally, I think the Drummer is pretty solid, far out, and right on! ;-) Everything is updated. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go set my DVR to start recording Season 16 onwards of the Simpsons marathon. Life is Sweet people... almost Super Sweet. :-)
