Some people, Local cunts in bands especially, have nothing better to do with their time apparently then to whine incessantly about silly bullshit like the current controversy with the Beauty Bar and their "domestic violence" sign.

Am I the only one who remembers the phrase "sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never hurt me"? Am I the only one who saw the sign as a tasteless, classless joke, but nothing more than that? And the spin of saying it's also anti-immigrant and racist because it's written on a Mexican beer companies promo board was just pathetic and a sign of the times and a big reason why I just want to walk around Downtown and machete people. Jeez! You'd think someone anally raped their Grandmothers in public while people stood around and cheered with the way some people are carrying on about the thing. The talk of boycotting the place is a joke, especially by scenester whores who once bounced from cock to cock all over that place, and girls in band pushing their PC femiNazi agenda down everyone's throat, kind of like how vegans have to remind you every 10 minutes that they're vegan and can't eat certain foods. You lazy fucks aren't going to boycott the place and you know it. It's "too cool of a spot" to do that because where else Downtown are you going to get ripped off on watered down drinks, huh?

So annoying.

Watching the Beauty Bar backpedal and then kowtow to the social media backlash was disgusting. First they were all, 'what's the problem? It's a joke', then they were very lawyer-esque with their 'we'd like to issue a formal apology' statement, where they made a point to say that the terrible person who wrote the sign was fired immediately, which I know for a fact is not true in any way, shape or form, but it seemed to keep the wolves at bay if only for a little bit. I'm sure the boycott for this place will quickly be forgotten, just like the boycott that sprang up and was quickly forgotten when that girl said the owner and his friends made them kiss them on the cheeks before they let them in, and when they refused, he kicked them out and threw their entrance fee back at them angrily. Funny thing video is, because you really can't say something happened when it's not on the video. The girl was a drama queen liar and quickly apologized for the trouble she caused when the owner of the Beauty Bar threatened to sue for slander. Good for him.

And yeah, I know that the picture accompanying this rant isn't the same picture of the sign that was in front of the Beauty Bar and making the rounds of the Interwebs.
