Needs - The Dragons

Since Civilians practice was cancelled last week, and by strange coincidence, only the young guys in the band who were going to the Lillingtons gig tonight heard it said apparently, I decided to use the free time to do some Throwback Tuesday updates to the website. Must be nice to have a sports team to give a shit about. ;-)

I added a couple of Music Reviews to the website, one on the latest release from the U.K. Subs called Yellow Leader, and you can click here to read it. I also posted a review that Karl Bakla turned in on a band called Red Death , one of the leaders of the "New Wave Of D.C. Hardcore" movement, and the review is for their latest release called Permanent Exile, and you can click here to read that. Mr. Bakla does an amazing blog called P.A.G.A.N., which stands for People Against Goodness And Normalcy, and it's where he rants and rails against his co-workers and other things nobody but him gives a shit about, and you can click here to read it religiously like I do. :-)

In the Throwback Tuesday dept., I found an old scratched up CD with some ancient website files on them, with pictures and original drafts of reviews on them, and I cleaned them up, formatted them to the new layout, and posted them up here for posterity's sake. The one I'm most happy about was finding the write up for the Loud Pipes Red, White And Boom 2003 gig @ Desert Breeze. It was a great day, until the end when Metro Police came in and started busting heads and arresting people. Oh well. Click here to read all about it. I also posted a write up I gave the T.S.O.L.
